I understand his views and I agree with him. Not because he say so, rather because of what I have already experience in life. The fundamental way of education has to change

They can afford something better than a college education.. for most, we need that degree to get somewhere

I actually agree with him. With the exception of a few fields, I think college is simultaneously 1) a waste of time and money 2) something worth doing to get past HR filters if white collar life is something you want.

Colleges, respectively, should be used for creating doctors, lawyers, nurses. The rest of these careers should be from a trade school or literally learned on the job.

We really do need to rethink what it is that we get from a college education!

I agree. It's very routine. We have too many graduates with no real life skill. But dropping out isn't for everybody.
