The danger: hydrogen gas bypasses glycolysis and the TCA cycle — the two systems your body uses to filter deuterium before it reaches your mitochondrial nanomotors. You may be delivering deuterium-loaded hydrogen directly to your mitochondria with no filtration. Boros: "As long as it's not clear to you what you're consuming as far as protium and deuterium ratios — don't put it in your mouth." 2. Even pure hydrogen raises a biochemistry concern This is a theoretical argument — not an established finding. Boros raises it as a biochemist, not as a conclusion supported by data. If pure deuterium-free hydrogen enters your plasma, it reacts with available oxygen rapidly. Boros on The Energy Blueprint podcast: "Hydrogen joins oxygen rapidly — it's called exploding gas because it's such a rapid reaction in chemistry. Hydrogen pills or hydrogen-saturated water soaks the oxygen's ability to deliver its function in the mitochondria. That's the biochemistry argument." He is careful to note: if hydrogen water were genuinely low in deuterium, it may have some beneficial effects. “If it’s just pure hydrogen, then it depletes deuterium in your system. It used solar power to convert energy into Hydrogen by using water, and it aimed to lower the price of fueling cars. It also would have greatly reduce air pollution in American cities and towns by an enormous amount. 45 years ago, even Jack Nicholson knew that it would be a struggle to make this go mainstream, as he mentions the oil and gas industry’s political power. Why is it that 45 years ago we literally had a car that could run on hydrogen, yet this never really took off? Is it the oil and gas industry’s lobbying of politicians? Is it safety issues? Is it something else? Why did it take Elon Musk and Tesla to finally have somewhat of a breakthrough in alternative energy vehicles? Still only 5-6% of cars on the road today are electric. How long until gasoline vehicles become the minority in America?

If you look at the cost of solar power five years ago, 10 years ago, or 20 years ago, it would have seemed cost-prohibitive. But the cost of solar power today is extremely low. The cost of batteries to store that energy has also dropped dramatically. Battery storage costs have fallen by a factor of 10 in the past five years. So many of the studies that were done were done in times past, when batteries were very expensive and solar power was very expensive. I would just encourage everyone to take another look at the cost of solar and the cost of batteries. I think you’ll find that you’re pleasantly surprised. Elon Musk
