"We just rebuilt the entire messaging stack. It uses a sort of peer to peer based encryption system, similar to Bitcoin. I think it is a very strong encryption method. There are no hooks in the X system for advertising. Apps like WhatsApp have advertising hooks. WhatsApp knows enough about what you are texting to decide which ads to show you. That is a massive security vulnerability, because if it has enough information to show you ads, it has a lot of information. X Chat has no hooks for advertising." Switch to 𝕏 Chat

Elon Musk on XChat: “There are just some things that are less insecure than others. So, you know, on X, we just rebuilt the entire messaging stack into what's called XChat. It's using a sort of a peer-to-peer based encryption system. It's kind of similar to Bitcoin. I think it's very good encryption. We're testing it thoroughly. There are no hooks in the X system for advertising. So if you look at something like WhatsApp or really any of the others, they've got hooks in there for advertising. [Hook is] like WhatsApp knows enough about what you're texting to know what ads to show you. That's a massive security vulnerability.”

ELON: XCHAT WILL BE THE LEAST INSECURE MESSAGING APP Elon says XChat was rebuilt from scratch with peer-to-peer encryption, ditching the legacy Twitter DM system entirely. He claims platforms like WhatsApp scan your texts to serve ads, and says that’s a massive security flaw. Elon: "WhatsApp knows enough about what you're texting to know what ads to show you. But then, that's a massive security vulnerability. Because if it's got enough information to show you ads, that's a lot of information. So XChat has no hooks for advertising, and I'm not saying it's perfect, but our goal with XChat is to replace what used to be the Twitter DM stack with a fully encrypted system." Switch to 𝕏 Chat 一 Fully Encrypted, No Advertising Hooks "We've evolved the what used to be the old Twitter DM stack, which was unencrypted, basically just text to a fully encrypted messaging system that allows you to do audio and video calls, has all the things you'd want from any messaging app, the disappearing messages, screenshot blocks, like there's a whole all the features that you'd want one in an app. In the next few months, we'll be releasing a standalone chat app."

Elon Musk to Joe Rogan: “No encrypted messaging app is truly secure — only degrees of insecure.” Then he revealed X is quietly building XChat to become the single least insecure messenger on Earth: • Bitcoin-level peer-to-peer encryption • Zero advertising hooks (he called WhatsApp’s ad system a “massive security vulnerability”) • Full E2EE for texts, files, audio + video calls • Coming both inside X and as a standalone app “in a few months” • Explicitly designed with no way for advertisers — or anyone else — to see inside Direct Musk quote: “If it knows enough to show you ads, someone can use the same hook to read your messages.” Joe also repeated what an ex-government source told him: NSA allegedly spent ~$750,000 just to decrypt Tucker Carlson’s messages before the Putin interview. In other words: even “secure” apps aren’t safe enough for Elon. The moment XChat launches… who’s deleting WhatsApp, Signal, Telegram — all of them?

💥 WHATSAPP IS FINISHED! 💥 Elon Musk just DROPPED the nuclear bomb on Meta... . XChat uses Bitcoin-level peer-to-peer encryption so strong that NOT EVEN X can read your messages! No ad hooks. No scanning your texts. No spying for "relevant" ads. While WhatsApp quietly reads everything to target you... XChat is built to be the LEAST insecure messaging app on Earth. Text, files, HD calls, all fully encrypted. Game over. Who’s switching today? Grok what do you think?

"In the next few months, we’ll be releasing a standalone X Chat app. So if you just want to do messaging, you can do that; you don’t have to go to the core product And it will have desktop sharing and multi-user, so you can do video calls with lots of people. It’s really intended to be a fully functional communication system with X Chat" -Elon Musk

Elon: Live your life on 𝕏. The Everything App. DMs moved from plain text to full encryption. Audio. Video. Disappearing messages. Screenshot blocks. Full messaging stack. Open-sourcing the code soon. Recommendation algorithm included. Transparency by default. Standalone 𝕏Chat coming. Desktop sharing. Large group video calls. Built as a complete communication system. 𝕏 Money is already live in closed beta. External beta next. Global rollout after that. One place for transactions. Over a billion installs. Around 600 million monthly users. Usage grows as features stack. The goal is simple. Elon Musk

ELON MUSK: WE ARE REALLY TRYING TO BRING THE WORLD TOGETHER INTO A COLLECTIVE CONSCIOUSNESS 𝕏 is kind of a global town square where people can say what they want to say with words, pictures, video Where there's a secure messaging system we've recently added the ability to do audio and video calls So really trying to bring the world together into a collective consciousness And that's different from just saying, 'What is the most dopamine-generating video stream that one could make?' Which I think can be a little bit of brain rot If you're just watching videos that cause dopamine hits one after another but lack substance, then I think that's not a great way to spend time

THE STREISAND EFFECT – THE €120M 𝕏 AD CAMPAIGN BRUSSELS "PAID" FOR EU tried to muzzle 𝕏 with a fine. Instead, it bought itself a full-blown 𝕏 download craze driven by curiosity! Backfire Check: • Fined for “sins” of free speech – the best unpaid promo 𝕏 has ever had • 𝕏 popped up as #1 on European news charts – ban energy, fan energy • Streisand Effect in app form – censor it, and everyone wants a closer look • Free speech vs “safe speech” – users vote with the install button, not press releases If the system hates 𝕏 this much, the smart move is simple - join the Truth Movement on 𝕏! ELON MUSK: “I do want 𝕏 to be a force for good. I do view it as the group mind of humanity, like the best source of truth. If you're trying to understand what's going on in the world, that it has the most accurate, the most up to date information about anything large or small."

Elon Musk: Something's wrong with the press. Citizen journalism is the future. “The far-left press has been going on and on about how Trump is like Hitler, Mussolini and Stalin combined, and you rolled them all into one, and he's somehow worse than all three of them combined. These are people who have killed tens of millions of people. Something's wrong with the press, guys. Journalism is dead. What the heck is going on? It's bizarre. That's why 𝕏 is the future. It's citizen journalism, where you hear from the people, it's by the people, for the people. That's what it's all about. I think this is a super, super big deal, and it's absolutely fundamental and transformative that the people actually get to decide the news and the narrative and what matters. The legacy media is basically controlled by a handful of editors-in-chief. That's it. They decide what's going to get published. That's why I really encourage everyone out there to write stuff on the 𝕏 platform and other platforms too. But citizen journalism is the future. That's where you get to hear from actual experts in the field, people who are experts in any given industry. And you get to hear the rebuttal. If somebody says something that's wrong or requires more context people can add that. 𝕏 has got community notes, which is great. Community notes, I think, got a very good batting average. It's not perfect, but it's got a very good batting average.” Lancaster, Pennsylvania, October 26, 2024

I just got my 𝕏 Money Card. My goal is to move $1 million into my 𝕏 Money account. I still remember when people laughed at Elon for saying, “I think it’s possible to become the biggest financial institution in the world.” They laughed at him for believing 𝕏 could become the everything app. And they laughed at me for investing in 𝕏 when building one of the world’s largest financial platforms was part of the vision from the beginning. Now I’m holding this physical card in my hand. People may just see it as just a card, but to me, I see this as a future where people can communicate, create, earn, save, spend, invest, and send money all from one place. 𝕏 already has the people, the conversations, the creators, and the world’s most intelligent people on it. And adding a financial system on top of that network is about to change everything…
