Berman says what are you going to do, the bbb is unpopular. And then Berman reads out the provisions—cutting snap, medicaid, tax cuts for the rich—all underwater. So on the election board in Fulton County, Georgia, you’re required to have 2 Republicans, 2 Democrats and 1 independent, so that when they make decisions about how they’re going to do elections, you have an equal say. — The board of commissioners, which is above the board of elections, is refusing to seat the 2 Republicans. Now, not only are they required to seat them by law, but also there are now 3 court orders, where judges have ordered that they seat them. And they just said, no. — So basically right now, all the election decisions are two Democrats overruling one independent, just making up any rules they want, and there’s nobody to challenge them. And like I said, not only are these two Republicans required to be sat by law, but the Republican Party has actually gone to the court multiple times and now has 3 standing orders from judges saying they need to be seated. So on the election board in Fulton County, Georgia, you’re required to have 2 Republicans, 2 Democrats and 1 independent, so that when they make decisions about how they’re going to do elections, you have an equal say. — The board of commissioners, which is above the board of elections, is refusing to seat the 2 Republicans. Now, not only are they required to seat them by law, but also there are now 3 court orders, where judges have ordered that they seat them. And they just said, no. — So basically right now, all the election decisions are two Democrats overruling one independent, just making up any rules they want, and there’s nobody to challenge them. And like I said, not only are these two Republicans required to be sat by law, but the Republican Party has actually gone to the court multiple times and now has 3 standing orders from judges saying they need to be seated. And the Board of Commissioners is just like, ain’t doing it, f*ck you. And right now, the election rules in Georgia are being completely redefined by 2 Democrats. And what’s gonna happen is by the time they actually seat these two Republicans, now the Republicans are gonna have to try to out-vote the Democrats and try to convince the independent to go along with them on everything they need to turn back, which isn’t gonna happen. It also required voter ID, something Republicans like to say Democrats are totally against. Guess what? Not a single Republican voted for the Freedom to Vote Act. That same thing happens on every issue Republicans try to pin on the Democrats. Case in point: the border. President Biden and Democrats worked with a conservative Republican senator, James Lankford. What did the Republicans do? They voted it down. They threw every name at Democrats in the book. Trump was attacking James Lankford for working with Democrats. Trump openly said that he wanted to go against that bill because it would help the Democrats. He didn't care about helping the country. He just wanted to make the border and make the situation as bad as possible to help with his election chances.
