I think we can very much notice that he's a different man than he was in his first term. He's slower, he's a little more lethargic. But much more important to me is what he is saying before the world. That meeting with the generals… pulling them out from the theaters to stand before them rambling about how he walks on stairs, what wars he solved, that he doesn't like the design of battleships? Just bizarre comments that meandered. And apparently some of the generals were trying to take notes, and they just abandoned their notes because it was incoherent. I want this president to succeed. But it is clear to me that he is unwell. And I think the people around him have to recognize that and go to him and admit it to him.

Moore: When we watch the commander-in-chief speak, he’s actually adding confusion to an already very confusing situation. It’s not just that Donald Trump doesn’t seem interested in actually knowing the details. He doesn’t seem interested in having a clear thesis to work toward — except, perhaps, “I want to win the Nobel Peace Prize. What really concerns me is who he has around him that are allowing him to say these things. Who does he have around him that isn’t educating him? I take real pride that when I look at my team — my cabinet, my agency heads — these are subject matter experts.. I always want to be around people who are educating me, who are helping me think differently about an issue. Donald Trump doesn’t have that. He has sycophants who go into cabinet meetings and spend three and a half hours telling him how good he is instead of actually educating him on the issues.
