the look on his face, the turn to the audience, and that punch up to the air as if summoning the power of a heavenly choir. For the last 60 seconds he will own a level of command over an audience rarely achieved ever by a performer on stage. Truly powerful and magnificent to watch, especially when considering 1.5 billion people were watching live…….

Young Elvis Presley

That voice, there 'til the end.

his final “how great thou art” was incredible

@imhakes This doesn’t even look like a real person

that one Gen Z

Elvis Presley's final live performance took place on June 26, 1977, at Market Square Arena in Indianapolis, Indiana. Despite health challenges, he delivered a heartfelt show for over 18,000 fans, performing classics like "Hound Dog" and "Jailhouse Rock". The show concluded with his signature ballad, "Can't Help Falling in Love". Elvis passed away less than two months later, on August 16, 1977.

The full clip of this performance of Unchained Melody is out there - I've watched it many times. Fascinating on so many levels. Seeing it in retrospect, it has such a melancholy, bittersweet, tragic feel to it. Flawless rendition, so compelling...despite the weight and the soon-to-be-dead drug habit and everything else: spine tingling. Vivid memory of being in the parking lot of Pizza Hut in Aug '77 - aftermath of my belated birthday dinner I think - as my mom was putting the car in reverse and beginning to back out: the official news on the radio, out of nowhere. My mother calmly put the car back in drive, glided back into the spot, put it in park...and covered her face with both hands, started sobbing. I didn't understand but was so struck and fascinated

And that voice could’ve been preserved or cloned, oh LORD. Anyone with such voice again now?

Elvis's final show: raw talent shining through pain. Legend forever 🫡❤️

Poor guy hadn’t pooped for so long.

He really was the greatest to ever do it

Swollen King

Elvis will forever be around. Some people never left, they are around with their music, writing, and the art they produced.

Epic moment! Elvis Forever

Such a great voice!

Elvis is the real deal legend and a humble guy

I just got goosebumps.

Bro had some great vocals, his music lives on even though he is gone

The strangest part about this video is there was a guy holding the microphone instead of using a microphone stand.

His voice and soul will always be remembered. 👀

No this is from the final tour. This was recorded on June 21st 1977 in Rapid City, South Dakota. Two performances were recorded this one and the one on the 19th in Omaha, Nebraska. His final concert was in Indianapolis on the 26th.
