We are a frightened citizenry. No Journalist has bothered to investigate this matter thoroughly. It's clear money was stolen and no one has been made to account. To a greater extent we are not only frightened but sorry to say just dwanzy docile and not at all bothered. We just post things on social media and it ends there. In all fairness a responsible citizenry would have taken even the law enforcement agencies to serious task. With the Freedom to Information Act and free press and all we are letting or rather giving government a free pass. In SA that's how the Thabo Besta saga came into being. People started asking serious questions about how on earth a prisoner escaped from a maximum security facility

@muyaa_mbango Some among our law enforcement officers are basically just thieves and enjoy "investigating" cases where there's money involved becoz when no one is looking they help themselves to the loot. And if you notice, these cases always end up the same. No court appearance. Faith Musonda

@muyaa_mbango They will solicit bribes or even steal evidence to kill the case. We have a very corrupt Police Service and they protect each other from the highest level to the lowest ranking Constable, they are all in this corruption .

@muyaa_mbango If I recall very well, some people were arrested and asked to return the, allegedly, stolen money. Even some people in uniform, allegedly.
