When you see flashing lights and hear sirens, pull to the right and come to a complete stop. This is what deputies, firefighters, and paramedics are trained to expect. It keeps everyone safe and helps us reach emergencies as quickly as possible. In this video, Deputy Lopez is responding to a high-priority call involving public and family safety. Unfortunately, several drivers failed to follow the law, creating a delay and unnecessary risks for everyone on the road. ✅ Do this: • Pull to the right shoulder and stop. • Stay stopped until the emergency vehicle has passed. ❌ Do NOT: • Pull to the left. • Stop in your lane. • Turn on your flashers and keep driving. ⚖️ Remember: By law, you must yield to emergency vehicles with lights and sirens activated.
