The incident occurred in front of Alliance College near... Anekal, on the outskirts of Bengaluru. According to reports, a car was parked along the roadside outside the college premises. The ambulance, which had set out from Anekal with its siren on to respond to a medical emergency, allegedly made slight contact with the parked car that was partially obstructing the road. Following the minor incident, the car driver, along with a few students of Alliance College, reportedly stopped the ambulance and engaged in an argument. Despite the driver’s repeated requests to allow the vehicle to proceed due to the emergency, the ambulance was allegedly blocked for nearly ten minutes. Eyewitnesses claim that the ambulance driver was verbally abused, and a heated confrontation took place in the middle of the road. Instead of clearing the path for the emergency vehicle, some students were said to have sided with the car driver, further escalating the situation. Police from Anekal later reached the spot.
