One day we’re told that a shadowy figure with no fixed address named Osama bin-Laden is public enemy number one and US jet fighters lay waste to his camp in Afghanistan… He escapes back under some rock, and a few news cycles later it’s on to a new enemy and a new crisis.” “I predicted that Osama Bin Laden would knock out the World Trade Center the year before he did it — one year before exactly, I wrote it in a book; You can even check. President Clinton had a shot at him and he didn’t take it- I’ve predicted a lot of things.”

In his interview with Axios, Hasan Piker talked about the tragedy of 9/11 and explained the concept of blowback: "It's a well established academic concept. The CIA has also talked about it as well and Robert Kagan, the godfather of Neocons, recently wrote for the Brookings Institute about how our meddling in the affairs of the Middle East is what inevitably caused 9/11. I want less actors like Osama Bin Laden to exist in general. There's two schools of thoughts on this; one is obviously to kill as many people in the region as possible with the hopes that we can squash any kind of resistance whatsoever. The other path of least resistance is to NOT interfere in these affairs in general, and not continue to dominate and create an environment where people are going to seek out revenge and put us in a position of danger. Blowback is not a justification; blowback is just what it is. A justification offers either a moral condemnation or a moral acceptance of the act. I do not accept the act of 9/11 morally; I believe that it was a horrifying tragedy."
