MUST WATCH: Yesterday Harrison Floyd, the former Director of Black Voices for Trump and one of the 19 people who were indicted in Fulton County under RICO had a hearing before Fulton County Judge Emily Richardson. Harrison is the only defendant out of the 19 indicted in Fulton County by Fani Willis who is being detained and jailed. Yesterday, as you can see from this video, Judge Richardson DENIED Harrison bail, and denied him of a public defender saying “he doesn’t qualify for a public defender”, and that she’s placing him on a flight ban because she said he’s a “flight risk and likely to commit felonies”. Meanwhile he hasn’t done anything wrong. He was simply trying to investigate a STOLEN ELECTION. This is completely unconstitutional and a violation of Harrison Floyd 🇺🇸’s rights. He is an innocent man who is being falsely accused and held hostage in jail! He has a wife and a small toddler daughter and he can’t afford a lawyer, and now he’s being denied a public defender when public defenders are even given to rapists and serial killers. Everyone is entitled to a public defender. How can he be denied a public defender? He said he can’t afford a lawyer. He was told that he could post bail at $5,000 and then Judge Richardson said he can’t even post bail anymore, which means he has to stay locked up in Fulton County Jail, one of the most dangerous jails in America. WE HAVE TURNED INTO A BANANA REPUBLIC!!!! Please donate to Harrison Floyd’s legal defense here. 👇🏻 This is an abomination.

Royal Reporter Emily Ferguson, shared that while visiting the Charing Cross Hospital in London today, “Catherine bonded with a volunteer who worked with chemotherapy patients who told them how patients and visitors ‘sit there for hours’. To that, The Princess, who is in remission from cancer and underwent six months of chemotherapy in 2024, replied: “I know”. ❤️‍🩹 Catherine then touched William’s arm next to her and said: “You know.”❤️ I also appreciated Prince William’s comment acknowledging his wife’s illness while addressing the NHS staff: “Both of us have had different experiences with hospital. Me working in the air ambulance, Catherine with her recent health journey and coming here today and reminding ourselves of just how important all the teams are.❤️ This is the best part about this couple and their relationship: it is a very secure marriage where there is no oversharing with the world. There is an intimacy between two people who know each other very well and support each other through the best and the worst times, without having to explain themselves to the world. Her comment “I know, You know” is truly powerful in that it shows all that matters to Catherine when it comes to her cancer journey is truly William and Her children🔥 She never needed the world to validate her or to believe her and that is why she has kept most details of her health battle out of the public sphere. To Catherine what always mattered is the support that William brought her and their children at her most vulnerable time. So she knows what she went through and William knows what they went through as a couple to get through 2024 and get to 2026 where they are today👌🏽 And that is truly all that matters to her🥂 #PrinceandPrincessofWales 📹Cameron Walker

Great to hear such kind words from Saagar Enjeti (who pronounced my name right!). I appreciate the coverage both he and Emily Jashinsky did on the hearing. Thank you! I really hope this was video of an anomalous craft but, at this point in time, I'm still skeptical. The full clip (link in replies) is 8:29) H/T: Heather | Nice People Saagar: "I do want to give some credit to some of the people who are saying that this video is not actually showing a UFO. Now again, I will let you make up your mind for yourself. But this actually comes from a guy who I very much respect, Joe Murgia, UfoJoe. Let's put it up here on the screen. Basically, he looked into it. They talk about the Hellfire missile. What he says (I was quoting one of That UFO Podcast's listeners/viewers), specifically, is that, quote, 'Contact occurred, with the missile passing through. The apparent "deflection" was a guidance system searching for a laser spot again, causing control surfaces to thrash. The three "trailing" objects align better with debris or internal components ignited by electrical damage rather than missile fragments. [IR] artifacts are possible but unlikely.' "Let's go to the next part here. And they say, the overall conclusion is that, 'The evidence is most consistent with a slow-moving or stationary balloon carrying an electrical payload, struck by a Hellfire that failed to detonate. Anomalies arise from fuse mechanics,' etc. "I will let others determine the facts, but that was some of the original, kind of, quote 'debunking' that I saw on it. You can make up your minds for yourself, in terms of what it comes from. It was Rep. Eric Burlison, by the way, who is the person who revealed it. And it's one of those where it was presented as received from an independent...from a whistleblower, according to him. But the circumstances are a bit weird. He said he received it without any metadata or any of that. He says independent review is ongoing. "So I do think it's important to at least present the fact that some analysts and others are saying that it could have been a balloon, which they say about all of them. And so, you know, I want to be totally fair about...that's part of the reason independent review is very important. Part of the reason, throwing it to the experts, et cetera, and actually taking this stuff seriously." (I hope we get more people chiming in and sharing their analysis and opinions. I'm not a video analyst so I rely on people who know more than me. Which is mostly everyone.) Saagar: "But nonetheless, it was great to see George Knapp and some of the others there recounting some of their experiences. I do think some of us are still getting very fed up with the fact that it's still so slow moving. I attended the first UFO hearing, what, two years ago, at this point...with Dave Grusch, right? I was there, I was in the room. I thought it was a big moment. I thought something was coming. And then, you know..." (We all thought we were reaching a breaking point, No pun intended. But that hasn't happened.) Saagar: "The NDAA continues to not have some of the UFO disclosure pieces, even though it's been pushed by members of the overall U.S. Senate. So we rely on Rep. Anna Paulina Luna or other people who are making extraordinary accusations. I'm very willing to believe, but we gotta see more evidence, we got to see more stuff come from the government." Emily: "Interesting disagreement playing out on X right now between UfoJoe and Lue Elizondo who, on NewsNation last night, made a very interesting argument. Which is, that the Hellfire missile UFO is evidence of, quote, 'technology that is making our premier missile system completely useless.' And if you're wondering why, in relation to what Saagar just described about the NDAA, why are members of Congress - and even, remember Secretary Marco Rubio as a senator?" Saagar: "Yeah, he was an OG. That's right." Emily: "Why are, quote, 'mainstream' members of Congress interested in getting answers to questions like these? Well, it's because they're seeing videos and hearing analysis from people like Lue, who worked at the Pentagon. You can debate Elizondo, whatever. But saying this is evidence of technology that's making our premier missile system completely useless. Now, UfoJoe disagrees." (I disagree because, to me, it appears that the missile disabled this object. So it accomplished its mission. Others, vehemently disagree. Here's one: ProPixel Video Analysis and Research. And this guy... Then you have MarikvR (anomalous) and Mick West (not anomalous), with opposing views. ~ Emily: "[UfoJoe] says, 'Early on, I agreed. Right now, I do not. I retain the right to change from my mind. Did Lue present any analysis or mention anybody who has done analysis besides the stuff shared on here by us?' But that gets to what Saagar was just saying, which is that, years into this third task force meeting, the bombshells are highly disputed. You know, it's not like this bombshell dropped yesterday, and everybody was like when that New York Times story originally dropped back in, what, 2017?" Saagar: "Oh, yeah, 2017. That's why I'm here, literally. That's the only reason, that's what got me in." Emily: "But we haven't had another moment like that, really." Saagar: "It's been a while. Dave Grusch was very important, I think, as well." Emily: "That's true, that's true." Saagar: "I just gotta see more. And, you know, credit to Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell and George Knapp, and all these guys. They're the ones who are at the vanguard. They're pushing the conversation. They're singularly..." Emily: "Responsibly." Saagar: "They're getting it, responsibly vetted. And that's why I include all of the information. You can make up your mind for yourself. I think more scrutiny, pressure on these, you know, the Democratic, Republican establishment to get the stuff out there is just so vitally important, if you want to get to the truth. "Because at this point, you know, you have Congresswomen and others, people making major accusations. Or allegations. Which I'm totally willing to believe, but we have to see more evidence in the future. That's the number one important thing. So, yeah, call your congressman or senator. Get them to the make sure the NDAA is gonna have that. What's it to them, right? It's like, so low on their priority list that if even twenty people call about it, maybe they'll do something? You never know. You truly never know you."

In Remembrance of Suzanne Pleshette. Born | January 31, 1937 in New York City, New York, USA. Died | January 19, 2008 aged 70 in Los Angeles, California, USA. Suzanne Pleshette achieved television immortality in her role as Bob Newhart's wife in the 1970s classic situation comedy, The Bob Newhart Show (1972). For her role as “Emily Hartley” wife of psychologist “Bob Hartley” (played by Bob Newhart), Pleshette was nominated for the Emmy Award twice, in 1977 and 1978. She was also nominated for an Emmy in 1962 for a guest appearance on the TV series, Dr. Kildare (1961) and, in 1991, for playing the title role in Leona Helmsley: The Queen of Mean (1990) in a 1990 TV movie. Her acting career lasted almost 50 years. Suzanne Pleshette was born on January 31, 1937 in New York to Gene Pleshette, a TV network executive who had managed the Paramount Theatres in Manhattan and Brooklyn during the Big Band era, and the former Geraldine Kaplan, a dancer who performed under the pseudonym Geraldine Rivers. Pleshette claims that she was not an acting natural, but just “found” herself attending New York City's High School of the Performing Arts. After graduating high school, she attended Syracuse University for a semester before returning to NYC to go to Finch College, an elite finishing school for well-to-do young ladies. After a semester at Finch, Pleshette dropped out of college to take lessons from famed acting teacher Sanford Meisner at the Neighborhood Playhouse. She made her Broadway debut in 1957 as part of the supporting cast for the play Compulsion (1959). Initially cast as “The Fourth Girl”, she eventually took over the ingénue role during the play's run. Blessed with beauty, a fine figure, and a husky voice that made her seem older than her years, she quickly achieved success on both the small and big screens. She made her TV debut, at age 20, in Harbourmaster (1957), then was chosen as the female lead opposite superstar Jerry Lewis in his 1958 comedy, The Geisha Boy (1958). On Broadway, she replaced Anne Bancroft in the Broadway hit The Miracle Worker (1962). Once Pleshette started acting, her career never lagged until she was afflicted with cancer. Her most famous cinematic role was in Alfred Hitchcock's classic, The Birds (1963), as the brunette schoolteacher jilted by the hero of the film, “Mitch Brenner” (played by Rod Taylor). Pleshette's warm, earthy character was a perfect contrast to the icy blonde beauty, “Melanie Daniels” (Tippi Hedren). Frankly, it is hard to understand how Taylor's Mitch would jilt Pleshette's Annie, other than to work out Hitchcock's dark vision of society and psychosexual relations between the sexes, in which amoral blondes triumph for aesthetic rather than moral reasons. Still, it is for Emily Hartley she will always be remembered, for both the original show and her part in another show that had the most clever sign-off episode in TV series history. Bob Newhart had enjoyed a second success during the 1980s with his TV sitcom Newhart (1982), and when he decided to end that series, he asked Suzanne Pleshette to come back. She did, reprising her tole of Emily in a final episode of Newhart, where Newhart woke up as Bob Hartley from “The Bob Newhart Show” in the bedroom of the Hartley's Chicago apartment, Pleshette's Emily at his side. Bob Hartley then told his wife Emily of a crazy dream he'd just had, where he was the proprietor of a Vermont inn overrun with eccentrics, the premise of the second show. After “The Bob Newhart Show” ceased production, Suzanne Pleshette worked regularly on television, mostly in TV movies. Although she was a talented dramatic actress, she had a flair for comedy and, in 1984, she headlined her own series at CBS. She helped develop the half-hour sitcom, and even had the rare honor of having her name in the title. Suzanne Pleshette Is Maggie Briggs (1984), however, was not a success. She co-starred with Hal Linden in another short-lived CBS TV series, The Boys Are Back (1994), in the 1994-95 season, then had recurring roles in the TV series Good Morning, Miami (2002) and 8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter (2002). Pleshette was married three times: In 1964, she wed teen idol Troy Donahue, her co-star in the 1962 film Rome Adventure (1962) and in 1964's A Distant Trumpet (1964), but the marriage lasted less than a year. She was far more successful in her 1968 nuptials to Texas oil millionaire Tommy Gallagher, whom she remained married to until his death in 2000. After becoming a widow, she and widower Tom Poston (a Newhart regular) rekindled an old romance they had enjoyed when appearing together in “The Golden Fleecing”, a 1959 Broadway comedy. They were married from 2001 until Poston's death, in April 2007. Pleshette was diagnosed with lung cancer and underwent chemotherapy in the summer of 2006; she rallied, but in late 2007, she barely survived a bout of pneumonia. She died of respiratory failure on January 19, 2008, a few days shy of her 71st birthday. Suzanne Pleshette was remembered as a gregarious, down-to-earth person who loved to talk and often would regale her co-stars with a naughty story. Newhart and his producers had picked her for the role of Emily in “The Bob Newhart Show” after watching her appearances with Johnny Carson on Late Night with Johnny Carson (1962), where she showed herself to be a first-rate raconteuse. Because she could hold her own with Newhart's friend Carson, it was felt she would be a perfect foil as Newhart's TV wife. She accepted the part, and TV history was made.

Emily Wilson is a kind of a feminist that is truly a bad person that wants to hurt you. Not directly, but in depth, through her profession as a classicist. She is attacking my culture and the Greeks because she hates virtues. She is blatantly lying because most of you don't know to read Greek. But I am Greek and I can read both modern and ancient Greek. So let me tell you why she is purposely lying. The references with insulting epithets toward the servant/slave women who betrayed Odysseus’s house and slept with the suitors are numerous. The most common ones, however, are "bitches" and "shameless" that were serious insults. Most foreigners translated the word "bitch" as "slut" which is correct to say that this is wrong because it's not what the text writes but in a sense of "non-literal translation" it's not out of context because those women who slept with the suitors and betrayed Penelope were "shameless bitches". Especially the word "shameless" is a strong insult in Greek. It implies sexual shamelessness lack of decency, and moral boldness and this is why foreign translators are using the word "sluts" in English. But Homer doesn't use the Greek word directly to call them "whores". The following translations I will use are made directly from the ancient Greek text into modern Greek. We Greeks do not read foreign translations. What we call an adaptation (απόδοση) from ancient to modern Greek is not considered a "translation" for us, since it is the same language. In other words an adaptation of a Greek text bridges the gap between ancient or dialectic Greek and the modern target audience. 1. Odysseus to a servant woman (Book 18, line 340): "Bitch, if I go and immediately repeat your wretched words to Telemachus, he will tear you to pieces, you’ll be smashed into bits." Penelope to Melantho (the servant who slept with Eurymachus and betrayed them), when Melantho spoke rudely to Odysseus (who was still disguised) (Book 19, line 91): "Nevertheless, you bold, shameless bitch, you do not escape my notice at all, doing a great deed which you will wipe off on your own head." [πάντως, θαρσαλέη, κύον ἀδεές (=fearless bitch), οὔ τί με λήθεις ἔρδουσα μέγα ἔργον, ὃ σῇ κεφαλῇ ἀναμάξεις] 3. "Perhaps in foreign lands too, some servant women insult him, every time he enters a famous lord’s house, just like these bitches here who all together insult you, stranger. I imagine that to avoid their reproach, their shamelessness…" (Book 19, around line 370) 4. "Servant women shamelessly dragging themselves here and there." (Book 20, line 318) 5. "Twelve of them appeared completely shameless, who had no regard for me and showed no respect to Penelope." (Book 22, line 422) Emily Wilson cannot tolerate any criticism of the women who betrayed the man Odysseus and slept like shameless bitches with the enemy, betraying Penelope. In her worldview, men are always the bad guys, and only women are the heroines. She herself calls the academic translators misogynists. It is inconceivable that there are today "eunuch" academics who defend this malicious and worthless woman. This woman is in Classical Studies in order to destroy them, so that you, who will read her books, will form a false image of the epics that built Western civilization. How Odysseus is not a hero, Achilles is not a hero, men are not great and brave but evil, and how the patriarchy must be fought so that women can win. They are trying to convince you that there is no heroism in Homer. Yet the epics were written precisely for this reason: so that you understand what it means to be a hero, what sacrifices are required, what difficulties you will face, and how you will achieve eternal fame. How you will conquer your passions, how anger destroys you, and how moral virtues lead you toward godlike status. She hates all of this. She wants you spiritually dead. She hates you. Therefore, it is completely justified for you to hate them too.

This morning, The Princess of Wales was in London to attend The Future Workforce Summit bringing together the UK’s most influential business leaders to drive further action and investment in the early years🥰 She was greeted by Sir Gareth Southgate among the other leaders present and she delivered an address to her audience of Business leaders and the remark centered around "Love". I loved these sections of her speech greatly redacted by journalist Antonello Guerrera: "My passion and the work of The Centre for Early Childhood stems from one essential truth; that the love we feel in our earliest years fundamentally shapes who we become and how we thrive as adults."👌🏽 "Love is the first and most essential bond. But it is also the invisible thread, woven with time, attention and tenderness, through consistent, nurturing relationships which creates the grounded and meaningful environments around a child. It is this texture, the weave of love, which forms a child’s emotional world and becomes the foundation, the very fabric of resilience and belonging."❤️ "The home should be the space where love, safety and rhythm enable a child to thrive. A loving home ultimately teaches us how to love and how to care, but every environment has the potential to shape our hearts." " At The Centre for Early Childhood, we believe that we must do all we can to create the conditions for love to flourish. That is how we invest in our future. Every child deserves respect and safety, and everyone who cares deserve recognition and appreciation."🔥 "I believe in restoring the dignity to the quiet, often invisible work of caring, of loving well, as we look to build a happier, healthier society. You are here because you care, so thank you."❤️ And that is how it is done: As Royal, you are given an immense platform to do so much, and I love that Catherine understands how to use that platform efficiently and to create real change around her, not for self promotion. After the last Business summit where The Princess called on Leaders to provide more Family time on their workforce based on her early childhood research, Deloitte decided to rewrite their Policy of Parental leave for both Male and female, from the minimum 2 weeks parental leave to extend it to 26 weeks; That is 6 months full months of Paid leave for their workforce of almost 500k professionals around the world🤩 I cannot wait to see what actions comes from this new summit👌🏽 #PrincessofWales 📹Emily Ferguson

This morning at 7AM, 10 police officers stormed my house to search the property and arrest me for a speech and X posts - again. This is the second arrest in less than 2 months. The order was from the London Met Police - they travelled to a different city to arrest me - again. I was questioned on X posts mentioning: - jewish supremacy & jewish supremacists - 'israel' - 'israelis' and 'israeli' jews - and their feelings. - Melanie Phillips, the Chief Rabbi: Eprahim Mirvis, Wes Streeting, the General Medical Council (GMC), Emily Schrader - and their feelings regarding my posts responding to them. - Armed resistance (Palestinian) and Oct 7. - The Thawabet (principles of Palestinian liberation) - The Palestinian Naional Charter (1968) - The repatriation of jewish settlers from Palestine One of the posts was my response to Emily Schrader saying 'FAFO' with a picture of the martyred Palestinian journalist Saleh Al-Jafarawi. I began crying when I saw his picture and the interview had to be stopped for 10 minutes. I was held for over 7 hours and released on bail conditions (pre-charge): - Not to publish, post, or communicate material or statements that incite hatred, discrimination, or harassment against any individual or group based on race, religion or ethnicity. I told the officer that I do not agree that I have done any of the above and therefore do not know what I am signing for. I was told: ' Posts on jewish supremacism'. I do not believe any of the above has much to do with Britain but the majority of the interview was centred on 'israel' and 'israelis' including their feelings, their entity, and their future. Just to reiterate: I am a British citizen. I am an NHS doctor with 0 patient complaints or clinical errors who has just been suspended for 15 months after a 2 year campaign by the pro-'israel' lobby. I am part-Palestinian. I have just witnessed the mass murder of my people by the 'jewish state'/'israel' and the IOF - using my tax pounds. I have never incited violence or harm. I have criticised a foreign entity, individuals who identify with and/or support this foreign entity and the genocide it is committing, and the system of oppression underpinning the 100+ years of dispossession, murder, violence, war crimes and crimes against humanity that the Palestinians are enduring. Our freedom of speech and expression, our freedom of assembly and our civil liberties in Britain are under attack. Free Palestine. Free Britain.

Christians of X (Attention please)👋 ---------------------- How should we understand the fact that Joel Webbon, a professing "Christian" nationalist pastor, has chosen to display an Esoteric Hitlerism themed advertisement on his NXR YouTube channel? On a video interview with Nick Fuentes, discussing the claim that "Christianity IS antisemitic." The ad uses imagery associated with #Hyperborea, #Agartha, and #Vril. These are not "just memes" or funny fictional myths, but well-known symbols within modern occult and pagan neo-Nazi subcultures. This aesthetic is neither accidental nor ambiguous. Within extremist spaces, it functions as a clear signal, pointing toward one of the most radical and occult forms of modern pagan, New Age style white nationalism. The only things missing are a Black Sun symbol and some archival World War II Nazi war footage. ----- 𖥞 Esoteric Hitlerism 𖥞 is a fringe neo-Nazi ideology that treats Adolf Hitler not merely as a historical political leader, but as a quasi-divine or mythic figure. ✨ Its literature portrays Hitler as a transcendent being whose mission did not end in 1945 and whose spirit is expected to return in a future global spiritual and political awakening, sometimes framed as an Aryan Hitler or a "Wotan" avatar. These ideas draw from Occult, Ariosophical, and Theosophical traditions associated with figures such as Helena Blavatsky, Guido von List, Jörg Lanz von Liebenfels, Alice Bailey, Julius Evola, Savitri Devi, and Miguel Serrano... (etc.) ----- Crucially, this tradition also redefines Christ himself! ⚠️ In Theosophical and New Age thought, "Christ" is no longer confessed as the incarnate Son of God, but reduced to an archetype, cosmic principle, or spiritual office that can be embodied by others. Once Christ is reduced this way, substitution becomes possible. In practical terms, this fuses the Christian expectation of the Second Coming of Christ with the expectation of Hitler's spiritual return, producing a single pagan, racialized messiah myth. This goes beyond historical Nazism by turning politics into a spiritual war and elevating Adolf Hitler into a supernatural figure, portrayed as a destroyer of the Jewish people and a bringer of cosmic awakening for the rest of humanity. That is the move Esoteric Hitlerism exploits. Hitler is recast as a counterfeit messiah, grounded not in incarnation, repentance, and redemption, but in blood, destiny, and mythic struggle. 🩸⚪️⚡️ ----- At the center of Christianity, however, is a very different confession. ✝️ Jesus Christ is the Savior of the Jewish people, not their destroyer. He is Israel's Messiah, the fulfillment of the promises made to Abraham, Moses, and the prophets. Gentile believers are grafted into these same promises of salvation, not as replacements, but as participants by grace. Any ideology that casts remnant Jews as enemies to be eliminated, rather than a people to finally be redeemed, is fundamentally anti-Christian. Scripture consistently portrays the destroyer of the Jewish people not as Christ, but as the Beast, the adversary who counterfeits God's purposes through violence, deception, and death. Jesus saves and preserves the remnant of Israel and his saints. He is the Christ. ✝️❤️ The Beast seeks to destroy the remnant of Israel and wages war against the saints, all while falsely claiming to be the Christ or act in God's name. 🐲💀 Confusing the two is not a political mistake, but a direct theological inversion of the gospel. 🔄 "Cosmic Christ" "Christ Consciousness" "You ARE Christ" 🐍 (Genesis 3:4-5) Very sneaky and demonic stuff. The Bible calls this "The Great Falling Away" or "The Great Apostasy." Jesus (and the Apostles) warned us this would happen before His return. ----- Matthew 24:4 "And Jesus answered them, 'See that no one leads you astray" Matthew 24:24 "For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect." 2 Peter 2:1 "But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them." 2 Thessalonians 2:9 "The coming of the lawless one is by the activity of Satan with all power and false signs and wonders." Revelation 13:4 "And they worshiped the dragon, for he had given his authority to the beast, and they worshiped the beast, saying, 'Who is like the beast, and who can fight against it?" ------ So the question is unavoidable. ❓ At what point do Christians stop dismissing this as irony or provocation from "Christian" nationalists and instead acknowledge it as participation, whether explicit or implicit, in an ideological worldview that is fundamentally Anti-Christian?

This year's awards peaked yesterday under the theme "uBuntu yiSintu Sethu" (Our humanity is our culture). The event has been a huge success. What began as a simple awards ceremony in rural Matabeleland backwater setting has now grown and expanded into a multi-day cultural festival featuring bush dinners, art exhibitions, history lectures, storytelling and traditional performances. In future, the plan is to have an organised series of performances or exhibitions around it such as a public lecturers on history and culture, film festivals, music festivals or literary festivals, underlining the importance of education and writing books. The event - a major cultural revival festival - is increasingly becoming a tourism magnet and driver of development contributions for Bulawayo and the Nkayi region, bringing together hundreds of visitors and various corporate partners like Kingdom Blue Funeral Service, mainly benefitting local main tourist attractions like Matopo Hills, Hwange National Park and Victoria Falls. Rooted in deep Nguni culture, traditions and heritage, the event is now attracting attention across different countries in the region which share the same ethnic cultural ties among some parts of its population, including South Africa, Eswatini, Mozambique, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. 🔴Caption: Ndebele Nkayi Chief Dakamela, who was born Mbusi Bekithemba Dakamela (left), and prominent Zulu Chiefs (right).

Agents who can buy, sell, and trade on our behalf are becoming a major part of the economy. But what exactly are they doing? Stripe sees 2% of global GDP, so they’re the company with the best view of what’s going on in the earliest innings of the agent economy. That’s why I had Emily Glassberg Sands, who leads data and AI at Stripe, on Every 📧’s AI & I. We covered: - Most of us still don’t trust AI with larger online purchases. People are hesitant to let AI make expensive purchases like a vacation or a couch—just like the early days of online shopping. But a superhero outfit for a kid who needs one stat? Sure, let the agent handle it. - Fraud is moving up the stack. It used to mean stolen credit cards. Now attackers are stealing free-trial tokens and compute credits. Free-trial abuse has 4x-ed in the last six months.. - AI is on both sides of fraud. Fraudsters are using it to scale attacks, while Stripe is using it to detect them. They’re blocking 250,000 fraudulent free trials a week for one large customer. - AI companies are growing faster than any cohort Stripe has ever tracked. Top companies hit $30M ARR in 18 months—3x faster than the 2018 SaaS class. So far, it’s net new spend instead of cannibalized software budgets. If you want to understand how AI is reshaping online commerce, this one deserves your time. Alistair Croll (Alistair Croll) is the co-author of the best-selling book Lean Analytics, and a longtime product manager, entrepreneur, and startup advisor. He also profoundly changed my life over a decade ago by convincing me to start a company, funding it, and helping us exit to Airbnb. More recently, Alistar has been running events such as O’Reilly’s Strata, Cloud Connect, FWD50, and Startupfest, and is about to release a book with co-author Emily Ross that I'm very excited about: Just Evil Enough: The Subversive Marketing Handbook. In our conversation, we discuss: 🔸 The role of subversive marketing strategies in most startups’ growth 🔸 11 specific subversive tactics 🔸 Examples of companies like Netflix, Airbnb, and Tesla using subversive tactics early on 🔸 A framework for scanning your market for opportunities 🔸 The importance of finding your “zero-day marketing exploit” 🔸 How to apply these tactics ethically without actually being evil 🔸 Much more Listen now 👇 - YouTube: - Spotify: - Apple: Thank you to our wonderful sponsors for supporting the podcast: 🏆 WorkOS — Modern identity platform for B2B SaaS, free up to 1 million MAUs: 🏆 Hex — Helping teams ask and answer data questions by working together: 🏆 Vanta — Automate compliance. Simplify security: Some key takeaways: 1. Most startups focus too much on product features and not enough on distribution and go-to-market strategy. To succeed, you need to find an “unfair advantage” in how you capture attention and turn it into profitable demand. This is what Alistair and Emily call “just evil enough.” 2. Stop relying on generic growth hacks. Instead, adopt a mindset focused on “zero-day” marketing exploits—innovative, subversive tactics that are only now possible. Look for unconventional methods to change the game in your favor. 3. Encourage your team to embrace “disagreeable” thinking, where you challenge the status quo rather than following the herd. For example, aim for your ideas to elicit at least 50% disapproval—this can be a great indicator that you’re pushing boundaries and generating true interest. If everyone loves your idea, it might be too safe. 4. Alistair outlines 11 key tactics to grab people’s attention: a. Turning bugs into features (e.g. Salesforce positioning their limited feature set as simplicity) b. Buyer upgrade (e.g. selling to insurance companies instead of city councils for bridge inspections) c. Access (e.g. Bumble’s founder leveraging her sorority connections for initial growth) d. Bait and switch (e.g. Tupperware using dinner parties to sell products in postwar America) e. Combination (e.g. Kraft combining powdered cheese with macaroni or 1-800 Mattress including mattress removal with a mattress purchase) f. Arbitrage (e.g. early social media growth hacks using API data) g. Aggregation (e.g. Busbud aggregating bus schedules to become the default destination) h. Reframing (e.g. Tom’s of Maine positioning toothpaste as natural/unfluoridated) i. Regulation (e.g. organ donor opt-out vs. opt-in policies in Germany vs. Austria) j. Misappropriation (e.g. Netflix using the postal service as a high-latency network) k. Sliding the window (e.g. normalizing previously taboo topics or behaviors) 5. To apply these tactics: a. Spend time understanding your industry’s system and status quo b. Temporarily think like a “supervillain” to brainstorm novel approaches c. Use techniques like pre-mortems, counterfactuals, and embracing absurdity d. Look for ways to change your value chain or industry dynamics

Didn't expect Jensen Huang to serve me hot green tea. (No, the video isn’t AI-generated). He spoke about SF, AI, Trump. I asked him about venture capital. But there is more to the story than what he said. Why he said it, who was there, and what happened during the opera: Embedded in the subtext is a masterful move. First, the facts: 1. 🐵 He brought his tech superpower friends to see Monkey King - casual! 2. ❤️ He and Lori donate $5M/year to the SF Opera - lovely! 3. 👯 He underscored the role of the arts in the age of AI - important! 4. 🤖 He said “SF is back!” “An AI City” attracting global talent - evident! 5. 🤔 He was one of two people who rang up Trump urging against sending the National Guard into SF —and Trump listened - baller! 6. 🧧 I asked if NVIDIA is going deeper into VC; he gave three reasons (in the video). And then the subtext: As I took my seat, I saw Tier 1 VC partners, big-tech CEOs (Sundar Pichai included), and decacorn founders do the same. The way everyone settled in felt like a quiet rehearsal for a larger play. Think about it. He chose the guests. He chose the opera to back. We weren’t watching “Hangover Part III” :P - We were watcing Monkey King in opera. Then the curtains parted. A timeless story about POWER unraveled: The quest for absolute power. To subjugate others or uplift others. To hoard or share power. And most of all, how to use the power you have. Diane Paulus directed the opera. But Jensen directed the narrative: As AI accelerates in power, tech titans secure NVIDIA chips to forge AI power -> Venture capital funds AI applications for the masses -> Government leaders battle to secure intelligence as utility for citizens. Jensen just sat their butts down for a 2.5 hour lecture in full vibrato and monkey makeup - an instruction manual how to use their power like an enlightened being would. Jensen’s made his message is clear. Those who continue to accumulate power must remember to empower others with it. If only more of the leaders he rang up could have joined the night. ( Thanks Chip Huyen Daliana Liu NVIDIA for the invite, and Vestimentary Semiotics for the inspo)

The upcoming weeks could be a period that requires close attention in terms of the geopolitical direction of East Africa. The overall picture in Addis Ababa indicates that the region is passing through a critical threshold. We are in Addis Ababa as part of President Erdoğan’s visit to Ethiopia. 1. This year marks the 100th anniversary of Ethiopia–Türkiye relations. Türkiye’s first embassy in Sub-Saharan Africa was opened in Addis Ababa in 1926. The main theme of the visit, consistent with this historical continuity, is a “Permanent Partnership.” 2. Ethiopia occupies an extremely sensitive position within the conflict-prone and competitive environment of the Horn of Africa. The leadership seeks to consolidate its position on issues it considers vital. At the same time, it tends to turn any emerging opportunity into a strategic gain. 3. However, growing demographic pressure, economic challenges, the fatigue of internal conflict, and other domestic vulnerabilities-combined with the structural disadvantages of being a landlocked country-are pushing Addis Ababa toward alternative strategic options. 4. In this context, the strategy of “access to the sea” is seen as a form of strategic relief-both for managing internal pressures and deepening regional influence. Creating economic breathing space, reducing logistical dependence, and increasing strategic maneuverability are the core motivations behind this approach. 5. This places Ethiopia in a difficult equation: it must produce policy within a competitive-and at times confrontational-regional environment where its ambitions may clash with the sovereignty sensitivities of its neighbors. The search for maritime access therefore stands out as an issue that could easily harden the region’s fragile balance. 6. Its closer alignment with the UAE in the Sudan civil war reflects the cumulative pressures of multiple security and economic challenges. Recent developments suggest that Ethiopia may seek a more active and visible role in the Sudan file in the near term. 7. At the same time, military movements along the Eritrean border carry risks that could trigger a new confrontation. For Ethiopia, the Eritrea issue is directly linked to its most critical maritime option. Access to the sea through Assab remains central to its strategic thinking. Historical grievances and current security concerns are deeply intertwined in this file. 8. Another critical relationship is with Egypt. The core issue here is the Nile Basin and water security. While the GERD dam represents energy production, development, and strategic leverage for Ethiopia, it is perceived by Egypt as a high-risk scenario. What began as a technical water management issue has evolved into a geopolitical matter directly tied to regional power balances. 9. When regional dynamics and the engagement of external actors are considered together, it becomes clear that Ethiopia is navigating a multilayered but high-risk foreign policy landscape-one that affects fault lines across North Africa, the Middle East, the Gulf, and the Horn of Africa. 10. Within this broader tension environment, Türkiye-Ethiopia relations remain in a positive trajectory. Despite differences in certain areas, the potential for deeper cooperation is high. Today, both leaders delivered strong messages in this direction. 11. President Erdoğan’s visit comes at a time when regional conflict dynamics are becoming increasingly visible. Ankara is seeking to develop a balancing approach aimed at preventing potential conflicts and lowering rising regional tensions. Given that Türkiye has both direct and indirect interests tied to the nature of its relationship with Ethiopia, the process is being managed with careful strategic consideration. 12. From arrival to departure, President Erdoğan was warmly received in Addis Ababa. The key areas of focus included economic cooperation, defense industry partnerships, and critical regional issues. MEDIA HIT PIECES: Eliminating Threats | Elon, Tucker, Brand, Tates Russel Brand faces accusations of rape and sexual assault at the peak of his popularity as an alternative media source. Has the media become the judge, jury, and executioner of those they don't like? Epstein, Gates, Prince Andrew, and Soros were treated much better by the media. WHY? They were media darlings and part of the mainstream engine. Is Russel Brand guilty of these allegations, or is mainstream media going after yet another ‘alternative media’ threat? VICTIMS OF MEDIA ATTACKS: WHY AND HOW 1) RUSSEL BRAND WHY: - Criticized the COVID-19 policies (vaccinations and lockdowns), saying the restrictions were being used to control people. - Vocal against the WEF, stating it is "a bunch of rich and powerful people who get together to talk about how to make themselves even richer and more powerful." HOW: The media has now posted accusations of rape, sexual assault, and abuse from WHEN he worked as part of the mainstream media! Why have these allegations come to light years later and conveniently when the media hates Brand? In previous attacks, the media labeled him a conspiracy theorist, anti-vaxxer, misogynist, and narcissist - the Four Horsemen of Cancellation. 2) ELON MUSK WHY: He has transformed 𝕏 into a citizen journalism platform, the biggest threat to Media Elon Musk quotes: - "Reuters and facts are not well acquainted." - "The New York Times is a propaganda machine." - "The media is the enemy of the people." - “Cable News Network is desperate for viewers, as bundled cable “channels” go the way of dialup modems, so they will say anything to get attention.” HOW: They accused Elon of: - Impeding Ukraine’s war efforts (Despite providing Ukraine with Starlink, FOR FREE) - Antisemitism, blaming him for a fabricated rise of hate speech - They blamed him for allowing the spread of misinformation on 𝕏 (all thoroughly debunked) 3) TUCKER CALRSON WHY: He had a massive platform on FOX, where he was outspoken and criticized censorship practices. His fans now follow Tucker on 𝕏. HOW: They accused him of being a far-right extremist, of misogyny, and of creating a culture of toxicity, eventually playing a role in him getting fired from his show. 4) TATE BROTHERS WHY: They rapidly rose to power, reaching massive influence, and were outspoken against the media and what they called ‘The Matrix.’ HOW: The media accused them of rape, misogyny, violence against and pimping women. MY THOUGHTS Even I was not spared as I continued expanding our shows on 𝕏. The first wave of attacks was by NBC News. They claimed the FBI and SEC were ‘responding to complaints' about me and my companies. Took me weeks to debunk their two witnesses (one admitted to not having evidence and shared how he was pressured to lie to NBC). The other witness admitted to lying in multiple recordings and messages, all of which have been submitted to authorities. Despite all this, NBC refused to remove him from the story, only adding a correction. What makes the hit piece worse is that the FBI and SEC dismissed the complaints, yet NBC didn’t care. The journalist (who has a history of attacking Elon) didn’t need credible evidence, didn’t need an investigation, but submitted fake complaints to the authorities with a fabricated story to come up with a hit piece. I was always skeptical of mainstream media, but naively hoped that facts mattered to them more than agendas. I learned the hard way I was wrong. Those who do not conform to the media’s bias or pose an existential threat to them, are TARGETS to be ELIMINATED by ANY MEANS necessary. Who’s mainstream media's next target?

When Shabana Mahmood, the Muslim appointed as Home Secretary of the United Kingdom, reads the Quran, which, as she testifies in this video, shapes her worldview and way of life, this is what the Quran commands her to follow and what she is committed to upholding. I’ve prepared a concise booklet’s worth of material for you, so you can understand what lies ahead. If you wish to delve deeper, you have the key points here. (The document contains about 4,000 words) ⬇️ The Prophet said: "The strongest bond to faith is to take the believers (Muslims) as allies and friends for the sake of Allah, to treat unbelievers as enemies for the sake of Allah, to love for the sake of Allah and hate for the sake of Allah, (Allah) be glorified and exalted". (Jalal al-Din al-Suyuti, Sahih. Al-Jami as-Saghir 2539 Sahih) 1. Islamic Art of War By: Ofer Binshtok Islam wages a continuous global war through various methods and with varying intensity against non-Muslims 24/7, as commanded by the Quran and Muhammad, a war that has persisted for approximately 1400 years and will continue indefinitely. In places where non-Muslims grow weary of conflict and seek peace, avoiding confrontation and attempting to appease Islam, believing they have achieved tranquility through signing agreements with Islam and even allowing its migration into their territories, during this time, Islam builds its strength and attacks them when it senses it has the upper hand, from within and from outside, in the most brutal way possible. This war strategy relies on the Islamic Art of War, based on the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah. Quran 8:39 - The goal: a world containing only Muslims through war. Quran 98:6 - Demonization of non-Muslims. Quran 3:28 - Deceive non-Muslims. Quran 47:35 - Do not seek peace when you have the upper hand. In other words, attack. Quran 8:60 - During a hudna (ceasefire), Islam prepares for war. Quran 9:123 - Attack nearby non-Muslims. Quran 9:5 - Kill every non-Muslim in the world. In 622 AD, Muhammad migrated from Mecca to the settlement of Medina (Yathrib) in the Arabian Peninsula, where he was received as a refugee by the Jews who had established and controlled the prosperous region, granting him shelter. Within approximately eight years, after building his strength, Muhammad eliminated the presence of Jews and other non-Muslims in the area. In 628 AD, Muhammad signed a ten-year hudna (truce) agreement in Hudaibiya with the Quraysh tribe of Mecca, as his forces were weaker than theirs. In 630 AD, when his power was sufficiently strong, he violated the agreement with the Quraysh, attacked Mecca, conquered it with ease, and eradicated all other cultures present there. Muhammad's Sunnah, which is binding in Islam according to Quran 33:21, commands every Muslim to emulate all of Muhammad’s words and deeds, which are considered sacred. "A Muslim must be loyal only to the Islamic Ummah" By: Ofer Binshtok The identity of the Muslim is solely to be a part of the global Islamic Ummah, without any connection to a nation-state or to another culture that is not the Islamic Ummah. The idea of independent Islamic nation-states contradicts the Islamic idea as it is found in the Quran and Muhammad's Sunnah. A Muslim, wherever he is in the world, is part of the Islamic Ummah. A Ummah that should be ruled by a caliph through Sharia law. Islam is a global political-religious worldview of a world without borders. The existing Islamic nation-states are actually an act of heresy. A disbeliever who converts to Islam must completely break away from his former identity, become part of the Islamic Ummah, and serve its purposes personally. Every Muslim, wherever he is, is personally obligated to act so that the Islamic Ummah will be established—that is to say, to collapse every nation-state that exists in the world so that the Islamic Ummah will replace it. The fact that the idea of Ummah is included in the central motif of the Quran is evidence of the vital significance of this concept. In Islamic terminology, the term "Ummah" refers to the religious community, also known as the Islamic holy community. This is the primary interpretation of the phrase found in the Quran. Quran 5.51: "O you who believe! Take not the Jews and the Christians as Auliyâ’ (friends, protectors, helpers), they are but Auliyâ’ of each other. And if any amongst you takes them (as Auliyâ’), then surely he is one of them. Verily, Allâh guides not those people who are the Zâlimûn (polytheists and wrong-doers and unjust)." Quran 2.143 "Thus, have We made of you an Ummat justly balanced, that ye might be witnesses over the nations, and the Messenger a witness over yourselves; and We appointed the Qibla to which thou wast used, only to test those who followed the Messenger from those who would turn on their heels (From the Faith). Indeed it was (A change) momentous, except to those guided by Allah. And never would Allah Make your faith of no effect. For Allah is to all people Most surely full of kindness, Most Merciful." Quran 3.104 "Let there be one nation of you, calling to good, and bidding to honour, and forbidding dishonour; those are the prosperers." Quran 3.110 "You are the best nation produced [as an example] for mankind. You enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong and believe in Allah. If only the People of the Scripture had believed, it would have been better for them. Among them are believers, but most of them are defiantly disobedient." Quran 16.92 "And be not like her who undoes the thread which she has spun after it has become strong, by taking your oaths a means of deception among yourselves, lest a nation may be more numerous than another nation. Allah only tests you by this [i.e who obeys Allah and fulfills Allah's Covenant and who disobeys Allah and breaks Allah's Covenant]. And on the Day of Resurrection, He will certainly make clear to you that wherein you used to differ [i.e. a believer confesses and believes in the Oneness of Allah and in the Prophethood of Prophet Muhammad SAW which the disbeliever denies it and that was their difference amongst them in the life of this world]." Tafsir Al-Qurtubi, volume 1, page 649: Muhammad said, "The earth was made a mosque for me." Sahih al-Bukhari, 3167: "The Prophet said, "If you embrace Islam, you will be safe. You should know that the earth belongs to Allah and His Apostle." "Because Muhammad admitted to using terrorism, committing an act of terrorism is considered as a holy deed in Islam." (122) CHAPTER. The statement of the Prophet: I have been made victorious for a distance of one month journey with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy). The Statement of Allah: "We shall cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve...(V.3:151) Sahih Al-B ukhari\ translated by Muhammad Muhsin Khan.- Riyadh. Volume 4. (122) CHAPTER. (56 - THE BOOK OF JIHAD) (Fighting for Allah's Cause) Page – 140. Hadith 2977 - Narrated AbU Hurairah: Allah's Messenger A said: "....and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy)... Sahih Al-B ukhari\ translated by Muhammad Muhsin Khan.- Riyadh. Volume 4. (122) CHAPTER. (56 - THE BOOK OF JIHAD) (Fighting for Allah's Cause) Page – 140. Quran 68.4 And indeed, you are (Muhammad) of a great moral character. Quran 33.21 "Indeed in the Messenger of Allâh (Muhammad (صلى الله عليه وسلم you have a good example to follow for him who hopes for (the Meeting with) Allâh and the Last Day, and remembers Allâh much." "When a Muslim looks at a non-Muslim, the Quran creates a lens for him through which he sees and understands the non-Muslim, composed of these three verses (and there are many more):" 8:55, 98:6, and 9:28. Verses 8:55 and 98:6 portray non-Muslims as the worst creatures, even worse than cockroaches, bedbugs, and ticks. Verse 9:28 portrays non-Muslims as physically and spiritually filthy, akin to the filth of excrement. In summary: When a Muslim looks at a non-Muslim, he sees him through the lens of the Quran as the worst creatures, worse than cockroaches and ticks, and physically and spiritually filthy to the level of excrement. Quran 8.55 “Verily, The worst of moving (living) creatures before Allâh are those who disbelieve, - so they shall not believe.” Quran 98.6: "Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islâm, the Qur’ân and Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikûn will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures." Quran 9.28: “O you who believe (in Allâh’s Oneness and in His Messenger Muhammad!) Verily, the Mushrikûn (polytheists, pagans, idolaters, disbelievers in the Oneness of Allâh, and in the Message of Muhammad) are Najasun (impure). [1] So let them not come near Al-Masjidal-Harâm (at Makkah) after this year; and if you fear poverty, Allâh will enrich you if He wills, out of His Bounty. Surely, Allâh is All-Knowing, All-Wise.” (V.9:28) Their impurity is spiritual and physical: spiritual, because they don’t believe in Allâh’s Oneness and in His Prophet Muhammad; and physical, because they lack personal hygiene (filthy as regards urine, stools and blood). And the word Najas is used only for those persons who have spiritual impurity e.g. Al-Mushrikûn. Quran 9.14 "Fight against them so that Allâh will punish them by your hands and disgrace them and give you victory over them and heal the breasts of a believing people." Quran 8.39: "...fight them until disbelief (non-Muslims) disappears and the whole Dean (way of life) is for Allah alone...(for Islam)” Quran 9.5: “...kill the Mushrikun (non-Muslims) wherever you find them…" Al-Bukhari: "To wage war against Allah means to reject faith in Him." Quran 2.191: "The sin of disbelief in Allah is greater than committing murder." "The concept of Jihad as defined by Sharia law." By: Ofer binshtok. 09.0 JIHAD (0: Jihad means to war against non-Muslims, and is etymologically derived from the word mujahada, signifying warfare to establish the religion. And it is the lesser jihad. As for the greater jihad, it is spiritual warfare against the lower self (nafs), which is why the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said as he was returning from jihad, "We have returned from the lesser jihad to the greater jihad." The scriptural basis for jihad, prior to scholarly consensus (def: b7) is such Koranic verses as: (1) "Fighting is prescribed for you" (Koran 2:216); (2) "Slay them wherever you find them" (Koran 4:89); (3) "Fight the idolators utterly" (Koran 9:36); and such hadiths as the one related by Bukhari and Muslim that the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) said: "I have been commanded to fight people until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah, and perform the prayer, and pay zakat. If they say it, they have saved their blood and possessions from me, except for the rights of Islam over them. And their final reckoning is with Allah"; and the hadith reported by Muslim, "To go forth in the morning or evening to fight in the path of Allah is better than the whole world and everything in it." Details concerning jihad are found in the accounts of the military expeditions of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace), including his own martial forays and those on which he dispatched others. The former consist of the ones he personally attended, some twenty seven (others say twenty-nine) of them. He fought in eight of them, and killed only one person with his noble hand, Ubayy ibn Khalaf, at the battle of Uhud. On the latter expeditions he sent others to fight. himself remaining at Medina, and these were forty-seven in number.) THE OBLIGATORY CHARACTER OF JIHAD 09.1 Jihad is a communal obligation (def: c3.2). When enough people perform it to successfully accomplish it, it is no longer obligatory upon others (0: the evidence for which is the Prophet's saying (Allah bless him and give him peace), "He who provides the equipment for a soldier in jihad has himself performed jihad," and Allah Most High having said: "Those of the believers who are unhurt but sit behind are not equal to those who fight in Allah's path with their property and lives. Allah has preferred those who fight with their property and lives a whole degree above those who sit behind. And to each. Allah has promised great good" (Koran 4:95). If none of those concerned perform jihad, and it does not happen at all, then everyone who is aware that it is obligatory is guilty of sin, if there was a possibility of having performed it. In the time of the Prophet (Allah bless him and give him peace) jihad was a communal obligation after his emigration (hijra) to Medina. As for subsequent times, there are two possible states in respect to non-Muslims. The first is when they are in their own countries, in which case jihad (def: 09.8) is a communal obligation, and this is what our author is speaking of when he says, "Jihad is a communal obligation," meaning upon the Muslims each year. The second state is when non-Muslims invade a Muslim country or near to one, in which case jihad is personally obligatory (def: c3.2) upon the inhabitants of that country, who must repel the non-Muslims with whatever they can). 09.2 jihad is personally obligatory upon all 'those present in the battle lines (A: and to flee is an enormity (dis: pH)) (0: provided one is able to fight. If unable, because of illness or the death of one's mount when not able to fight on foot, or because one no longer has a weapon, then one may leave. One may also leave if the opposing non-Muslim army is more than twice the size of the Muslim force). 09.3 Jihad is also (0: personally) obligatory for everyone (0: able to perform it, male or female, old or young) when the enemy has surrounded the Muslims (0: on every side, having entered our territory, even if the land consists of ruins, wilderness, or mountains, for non-Muslim forces entering Muslim lands is a weighty matter that cannot be ignored, but must be met with effort and struggle to repel them by every possible means. All of which is if conditions permit gathering (A: the above-mentioned) people, provisioning them, and readying them for war. If conditions do not permit this, as when the enemy has overrun the Muslims such that they are unable to provision or prepare themselves for war, then whoever is found by a non-Muslim and knows he will be killed if captured is obliged to defend himself in whatever way possible. But if not certain that he will be killed, meaning that he might or might not be, as when he might merely be taken captive, and he knows he will be killed if he does not surrender, then he may either surrender or fight. A woman too has a choice between fighting or surrendering if she is certain that she will not be subjected to lin indecent act if captured. If uncertain that she will be safe from such an act, she is obliged to fight, and surrender is not permissible). Source: Reliance of the Traveller - Revised Edition. The Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law 'Umdat al-Salik by Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri (d. 769/1368) in Arabic with Facing English Text, Commentary, and Appendices. Edited and Translated by Nuh Ha Mim Keller. 2. Loyalty and Disavowal: The Principle of Al-Wala' Wal-Bara' The Islamic principle of Al-Wala' Wal-Bara' (loyalty and disavowal) forms a cornerstone of the declaration of faith, shaping a Muslim’s relationships and actions. Wala' (loyalty) arises from love for Allah, driving believers to cultivate closeness, offer support, and provide protection to those who follow His path. This loyalty manifests in tangible acts, such as defending the faith, aiding fellow Muslims, and honoring their shared commitment to Allah. Conversely, bara' (disavowal) stems from rejection of disbelief, leading to active opposition, distance, and enmity toward those who oppose Allah or His message. These principles are not mere sentiments but demand practical commitment in both speech and deeds, as evidenced by numerous references in the Qur'an and Sunnah. The Qur'an provides explicit guidance on maintaining loyalty to believers and dissociation from disbelievers. It warns Muslims against prioritizing alliances with disbelievers over fellow believers, stating that such actions sever one’s connection with Allah unless done cautiously for self-preservation (Qur'an 3:28 - Taqiyya). It emphasizes that true love for Allah is shown by following Muhammad, which earns divine love and forgiveness, while turning away aligns one with those Allah disapproves of (Qur'an 3:31-32). The Qur'an further cautions against befriending those who desire Muslims to abandon their faith, urging believers to avoid such ties unless the disbelievers embrace Allah’s path (Qur'an 4:89). It explicitly advises against taking Jews and Christians as intimate allies, noting that those who do so align themselves with their ranks and stray from divine guidance (Qur'an 5:51). Additionally, it praises those whom Allah loves and who love Him, demonstrating humility toward believers, firmness against disbelievers, and steadfast dedication to striving for Allah’s cause without fear of criticism (Qur'an 5:54). Further reinforcing this principle, the Qur'an instructs believers not to take disbelievers as allies when they oppose Allah and Muhammad, even if they are close relatives, warning that such alliances betray the faith (Qur'an 60:1). It also prohibits taking disbelievers as protectors in preference to believers, stating that those who do so will find no help from Allah (Qur'an 4:144). Moreover, it commands Muslims not to prioritize familial ties with disbelieving parents or siblings over their faith, emphasizing that true believers are those who align solely with Allah, Muhammad, and the faithful (Qur'an 9:23). The Qur'an also describes true believers as those who do not harbor affection for those who oppose Allah and Muhammad, even if they are close kin, as Allah strengthens their hearts with faith and promises them divine reward (Qur'an 58:22). Finally, the example of Prophet Ibrahim is highlighted, who declared to his people, “We disassociate ourselves from you and what you worship besides Allah. Enmity and hatred have arisen between us until you believe in Allah alone” (Qur'an 60:4), illustrating the resolute stance required in disavowing disbelief. The Sunnah further clarifies these teachings. Muhammad instructed a companion to swear an oath to offer sincere guidance to Muslims and refrain from forming close bonds with disbelievers. He reportedly said, “The strongest bond of faith is love for the sake of Allah and enmity for His sake.” Another narration emphasizes that true faith is achieved only through loving and opposing for Allah’s sake, forming alliances with believers and standing against disbelievers. A scholar explained that wala' entails not just affection but active solidarity, including defending Muslims, upholding their honor, and supporting them in times of need, such as during conflicts or hardships. Similarly, bara' requires concrete opposition, such as openly rejecting false ideologies, avoiding cooperation with those who oppose Islam, and, when necessary, confronting them through intellectual or physical struggle, as exemplified by Ibrahim’s rejection of idolatry (Qur'an 60:4). This principle underscores that loyalty to Allah involves loving and aiding His obedient followers, whether through charity, protection, or advocacy, while disavowal requires opposing His enemies with determination, such as by refuting their arguments or resisting their influence. The Qur'an distinguishes between the “party of Allah,” who are guided from darkness to light, and the “party of Satan,” who lead others into darkness (Qur'an 2:257). It describes believers as striving for Allah’s cause, while disbelievers fight for falsehood, urging Muslims to confront the allies of Satan, whose strategies are ultimately weak (Qur'an 4:76). Every prophet faced adversaries, human or jinn, who used deceptive rhetoric to mislead, yet Allah assures victory to His followers in both intellectual debates and physical struggles (Qur'an 6:112, 37:173). The enemies of Islam, whether atheists, secularists, or proponents of ideologies that contradict divine teachings, seek to erode Muslim faith and identity. They may promote deceptive concepts like universal brotherhood or the separation of religion from public life, aiming to weaken the Muslim community’s distinct character. For example, calls for “equality” that ignore religious differences or attempts to dilute Islamic values under the guise of modernity directly challenge Al-Wala' Wal-Bara'. Muslims must equip themselves with deep knowledge of their faith to counter these threats, using the Qur'an and Sunnah as tools to defend their beliefs. The declaration of faith demands unwavering devotion to Allah, loving what He loves, such as justice, piety, and unity among believers, and hating what He hates, such as disbelief, oppression, and hypocrisy. This commitment requires aligning exclusively with Muslims, supporting them in times of need, and opposing disbelievers, even if they are close relatives, as emphasized by scholars like Ibn Taymiyya. By embodying Al-Wala' Wal-Bara', Muslims ensure their actions and relationships reflect their submission to Allah, safeguarding their faith against external challenges. 3. Never, ever try to learn about Islam from Muslims. They will always lie to you, because this is part of their holy war against heresy and disbelievers. Don’t pay attention to a word that comes out of their mouth about Islam. By: Ofer Binshtok Do you really believe that if you ask Muslims whether Islam is a religion of violence, war, and terrorism, they will respond with a resounding "Yes"? Even if it is true? Do you believe they will acknowledge the truth? Does it make sense to ask them such a question? "Critical thinking means being able to make compelling arguments. Arguments consist of claims substantiated by evidence-supported reasons. Argumentation is a social process of two or more people making arguments, responding to one another—not simply restating the same claims and reasons—and modifying or defending their positions accordingly." "Islam's holy culture of lies and deception" "The claim" is that it is forbidden to attempt to learn and understand from Muslims about the eternal war they are ordered to wage against us, the heresy and disbelievers, through terror and various means, as they will always continue to lie to us on this subject. They will always continue to lie to us as a holy command from Allah in the Quran and Muhammad. For them it is a sacred commandment to lie to us as part of the jihad war that Islam is waging against us. “The argument” “Islam is in eternal state of war againt the heresy and the disbelievers”. Quran 9.29 begins with: “Fight those who do not believe in Allah...” The message is also from Quran 8.39 Fight the disbelievers until only Islam will exists in the world. Quran 9.123 begins with: "O you who believe, fight those disbelievers who are near you..." The message is also from Hadith Bukhari 25: Fight the disbelievers until they all convert to Islam and only then will their lives and property be protected. "In fact, from the verses above, along with many hadiths, it can be understood that believers, as commanded by Allah in the Quran and by Muhammad, are in a perpetual state of war against heresy and disbelievers 24/7/365, for approximately 1,400 years and indefinitely." And then: “It is permissible to lie in a state of war, as a tool of war.” Muhammad in Bukhari hadith 3029: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) called,: "War is deceit". Muhammad in Hadith Sahih, in Tirmidhi 1939: “Lying in time of war”. The message from Quran 3.28: Permission to lie to disbelievers as a defense, when Islam is in a state of weakness. Taqiyya. The message from Quran 16.106: "...Whoever disbelieves in [i.e., denies] Allāh after his belief...except for one who is forced [to renounce his religion] while his heart is secure in faith..." In conclusion: we can learn from this argument that it is incorrect to attempt to learn from Muslims about the eternal war they are ordered to wage against us, the disbelievers, because they are actually commanded to lie to us and deceive us as part of the ongoing war of extermination that they are ordered to wage against us.
