Not rich enough to afford this, but having flown Virgin airlines into Heathrow, and then transferring to Amer airlines, I can say with certainty it was an extreme downgrade. Virgin was lovely. Like a S600 MBZ. AA was like a 1993 Honda civic.

I've been to Dubai 5 times for free. I was deployed there. I wouldn't pay $500 to go back on the plane. Much less over 10k!!!
