@meggaherne Genuine intelligence from Emma Hayes, versus Barton liking to think he’s clever with his philosopher quotes. Imagine interviewing the two of them for any football manager role. One very clear candidate you would offer the job to and they’re not male.

Emma Hayes talks good football it’s the ones that are only put on tv to tick a box is the issue.

It isn’t about women playing football ,or women managing football, it’s about women coming to the man’s game to do commentary.. when men don’t interfere on there commentary,why can’t they stay away from the men’s ? If they was good at it men would go fair enough but your not.😝

She's quite right. I think he issue is partly down to how long football had been a male only sport. Nobody complains about women presenters/analysts in Men's Tennis/Gymnastics/Athletics, but these are all sports equal gender participation.
