She says the government has engaged with social media companies to seek their cooperation, adding that it is encouraged by their willingness to work together. Ntshavheni further stated that while South Africa is a democratic country that upholds freedom of expression, anyone who continues to deliberately spread false information about the South African government and its people will have to face the consequences.
