Surely a rage bait. Pickford isn't fit to dry off Seaman's gloves. Petit is correct. Pickford might not have let England down so to speak, but he doesn't make elite saves. First Croatia goal is prime example. Top keepers save that.

Emmanuel Petit is entitled to his view, but Jordan Pickford has built a strong international record with several standout performances at World Cups and European Championships.

It’s like some people are just waiting for Pickford to seriously mess up for England, so they can pounce straight on him, even if he’s been one of their most consistent performers in recent years. He’s helped them get to 2 finals so I think that helps his case as their number 1.

As an Englishman, I have the same concerns regarding Mbappe, I don’t think he is France’s best striker and I think they should drop him for say Thierno Barry !! I also think Carlos Alcaraz would be a vastly better #10 for Argentina than Lionel Messi.

Sick of the Pickford hate. One of the best keepers we’ve had, always shows up in tournaments and never lets us down. Saves at least one penalty in every shoot out, turn it in.

World Cup winner Petit is correct. Pickford is a liability who plays the game like a frustrated outfield player. He got away with a bad challenge against Ghana but he's destined to pick up a RED card if he does it again.

There's always panick when ball goes to Pickford, he on many occasions does not catch when he could and punches it mostly towards the opponents, he kicks the ball late a few times almost getting caught in possession, he is just wobbly and does not instill confidence imho

Petit has definitely hardly ever watched Pickford play.

Pickford has always only ever been premier league folder level. Generally been decent for England, but still isn’t an elite keeper and never has been.

Pickford is England's best keeper at the moment. And he's been England's best keeper of the 21st century. Should of done better with the goals against Croatia and Congo though. All keepers let soft goals in, but the very best don't let too many in

Dean Henderson is a better Goalkeeper than Pickford. Pickford is just a safe choice for most managers. He's also very vocal on the pitch so they probably see him as a leader in thw dressing room as well. But no way he's better than Henderson or Seaman talk less of ever!!

Been saying this for years to guys in work you don't win world cups with Pickford's you might win a FA cup if your lucky but not a world cup
