😭😭😢😭 😢😢💔💔 My Uncle Newton Brooks ,I’m heartbroken at your passing. The Family is going to be poorer without you . 😢😢 The price to pay for having a great uncle is too high. You experience the wonder, the joy, the tender moments – and at the end, tears come.😭😭 It was only in October 2023 and March 2024 when we spent unforgettable times in Harare and at our rural home in Njanja. Your wit,intelligence and your debating skills are unmatched and will be sorely missed by our big Family and your friends. The memories we made ,which I will hold onto dearly are too numerous to mention ,a standout being you buying me my first suit at Sales House and taking me along to an afternoon live concert at Gwanzura Stadium as a 10 year old to watch Percy Sledge and later Richard Jon Smith will always occupy a special place in my heart. Memories of you sending me to the SPIN-A-LONG to buy LPs of my choice every railway payday . The advice you proffered and the trust you placed in me at an early age gave me the confidence I needed during my youth and that advice and “man talk” helped in shaping my character.
