@NationalGridNg " the situation is beyond our control" This statement is enough reason for him to resign. He's clueless, and should resign immediately.

@NationalGridNg Let even assume that 6,000mw is achieved, is that what a country with a population of over 200m people will depend on? Even if the full 6,000mw is transmitted to end users, it won’t be enough to power 20 percent of the country’s population.

@NationalGridNg He is not up to the task, period. He should just resign.

@NationalGridNg God punished you with that your yeye Hope Renewed.

This apology should be coming with resignation. His employer should ask him to resign. The senate should invite him to explain the reason behind his poor performance. Those are what you get when all ministerial nominees are asking to take a bow and go without crutinizing to know if they have what it takes to deliver in their given portfolios.

@NationalGridNg It would be easy to fit 10 blue whales in the eye of a needle than for this to be achieved. Notice that no timeline was given

@NationalGridNg Coming from someone with just few days to leaving this cabinet. He really has failed this administration and Nigerians.

@NationalGridNg Na that hope go kee you and your competent fat stupid minister

“Situation beyond our control” from the minister whose entire job is to control the situation. 6,000 MW “coming soon” has been the promise since 1999. Every administration. Every minister. Every press conference. Same megawatts. Different faces. Zero accountability. Nigerians are not waiting for 6,000 MW anymore. They are waiting for one minister to stand up and say “we failed and here is exactly how we fix it” instead of recycling hope as a substitute for governance. Empathy without electricity is just a press release. 👀

@NationalGridNg Soon is not a time frame

@NationalGridNg Soon could be after the next election. 😂

@NationalGridNg Sometimes I believe this account is just a ragebait cause how??? Which hope is renewed?

@NationalGridNg Tinubu and his minister are playing politics with the light, Light nor spoil, they’ll switch it on before campaign

@NationalGridNg Can you help us send a prayer to him that may his life be as beautiful as the nature of power supply he provides to Nigerians

With all due respect sir, you are not a serious human being. Before you came on board, our power supply was A+++++++, that we had to sell our generators, switch off our freezers for 4 days in a week because of too much ice. But since you sent a memo that a unit would cost 300 and we refused the offer, you have practically make living unbearable for us. Don't justify the misery you are putting us through, FIX UP!

@NationalGridNg @drhcimci Until the Gencos debt are settled, and are reassured of their future payment or partial subsidy removal then this might be another empty promise.

@NationalGridNg If person swear give you now cos of this thing when you post them go say person wicked

@NationalGridNg Well, this is better than Raji Fashola who insisted that Nigeria was generating more than 7000 megawatts of electricity... "That's not even debatable".

@NationalGridNg Government in power is still promising, instead of showing results

@NationalGridNg How do u expect a useless banker to perform in energy sector. Tinubu is a mess

@NationalGridNg Ogun deal with you without Mercy if you open your mouth and say that 2025 was a good year for us wrt power supply.

@NationalGridNg Light just go now abi Gas done finish again?

@NationalGridNg "6000 MW will be achieved soon" in a country with 200m+ people in 2026

@NationalGridNg 6000 MW will never make Nigeria smile ..You’re saying you need $100billion dollars to achieve 6000 MW when you can use $40-60 billion dollars to get 20,000 MW..just another way to steal Nigeria is never going to get better that’s the honest truth..

@NationalGridNg A shame

@NationalGridNg With all due respect, STFU

@NationalGridNg He’s reading from phone Imagine carrying power bank around

@NationalGridNg Masking incompetence with slogans, what’s has hope renewed got to this in this situation? No timelines, no accountability!

@NationalGridNg Imagine aspiring for 6000mw. In this new dispensation. People wey Dey Lagos and Abuja and some state capitals no go know how deep Nigeria electricity crises is. My village never get light for close to 20 years now. Nothing has been done, no solution
