It’s gotten to the point where you can’t even talk to some people about how your day went even if they’ve asked how was your day and then they accuse you of trauma dumping it’s like who’s the snowflake now you can’t handle the answer to your question? 🤣
I don't let anything go. Ever. If I have to cut friends or family out of my life so I can live peacefully and happy then I do that.
Soooooooooo real! I constantly battle with the thought of talking about that nigg (the ex) with my ppl or my podcast.

It’s very what she said. The thing is. everyone gets their turn, it’s usually the ones that tell people to get over it or who cares can’t handle it and crack and become even meaner and harder to deal actually crazy to watch it unfold, 🤷🏾♂️
If you still mad that mean you haven’t sat in those feelings and released that trauma. The full grieving process is the true lost art
I feel like this when ppl call women bitter out of a fresh break up even with kids involved. Are ppl machines now. Your hurt shouldn’t cause other ppl harm but you have a right to grieve I remember a time when ppl tried to help you stay together(outside of abuse)
It’s true, people don’t care about others. And they don’t wanna hear your sob stories.

Maybe go get therapy and stop expecting your friends and family to be a therapist

I understand this message and I hear her. However we can’t let the negative stuff define us. 10 years is a long time not to process grow and forgive the situation
Society isn't telling you to not be empathetic. It's telling you to stop making it everyone else's problem. Not everybody has to verbalise the bs they go through

It’s called going to therapy! Are you sitting around just complaining about it or are you actively trying to deal and work through the pain! If you’re not actively trying to get through it or seeking help at a certain point nobody wants to hear it! We can only do so much.
We are in a time where people are not coping well and getting over things so this is a half full/half empty perspective because are you doing the healing to get over it or are you loathing in the hurt?
Can’t let nobody tell you how long to heal or how long to grieve other than yourself.
Like this is the whole just of forgive but don’t forget
The point is to not wallow, but to learn to cope. Every day you wallow in victimhood and self pity is the last day.

Why should or would society as a whole feed into your inability to forgive? That’s not empathy you’re expecting that an echo chamber you’re expecting.
You lost me at ten years ago… at what point do you heal? It’s not wrong to feel…..but ten years later..it’s time to heal…Hell feel healed.
No one cares about what you go through until that causes you to become violent or unpleasant to be around, then they care to get you out of their face or life. It’s the easiest way I’ve seen to get rid of bad people in your life, cause the good ones will stay by your side.
Give it to god there is a such thing as forgiveness you are holding on to it that’s why we say that bc do you want to be stuck in that same place like you won’t get pass things holding on to hurt
