The employee is just fine living a normal happy life for himself and not putting much pressure on himself because anytime he can be replaced and nobody will give a f$ck on his hard work he had done for the company.

What kinda bullshit company is this, literally employees here work at 8 AM, so they’re already preparing the day since 3-4 AM (esp if the commute takes more than 2 hours)

Not entirely correct. I've observed many employees struggling with work-life balance, extending their work hours, and even sacrificing family time and weekends without overtime compensation. It's not always as rosy as it seems.
