Employees are vibe-coding company data into external databases IT can't see. Today we shipped the Superblocks App Database on AWS RDS. Make RDS your default app database and keep every vibe-coded app's data inside your own AWS account. IT governs it for every app; dev and prod stay isolated,...

Top 25 AWS services explained EC2 – Your server. But in the cloud. You pay even when it’s doing nothing. (Sound familiar?) Lambda – EC2’s lazy cousin. Only wakes up when there’s work. No work, no bill. ECS – “I want containers but Kubernetes gives me anxiety.” EKS – Kubernetes. For people who enjoy suffering professionally. Auto Scaling – Your app gets famous overnight. This makes sure it doesn’t die from the attention. S3 – A bucket that never fills up. Jeff Bezos’s gift to humanity. EBS – A hard drive for your EC2. Loyal. But only to one instance at a time. EFS – EBS but for people who like sharing. Multiple instances, one file system. FSx – EFS but for enterprises who need Windows compatibility and a bigger invoice. Snowball – When your internet is too slow to upload data, AWS ships you a literal box. VPC – Your private neighborhood inside AWS. Strangers not allowed. Route 53 – The GPS of your app. Tells traffic where to go. ELB – The bouncer at the club. Splits traffic so no one server gets overwhelmed. CloudFront – Your content, cached globally. Because nobody likes a slow website. Direct Connect – A private highway between your office and AWS. No public internet drama. RDS – A managed database. AWS handles backups so you can sleep at night. DynamoDB – NoSQL at insane speed. Schema? We don’t do that here. Aurora – RDS on steroids. Faster, smarter, slightly more expensive. Redshift – A warehouse for your data. Not clothes. Petabytes of analytics data. ElastiCache – RAM for your app. Because hitting the database every time is embarrassing. IAM – The bouncer for your entire AWS account. Get this wrong and you’re headlines. KMS – Locks your secrets in a vault. AWS holds the key. You trust them. Mostly. Cognito – “Login with Google” but you built it on AWS. GuardDuty – The security camera that never blinks. Watches for sketchy behavior 24/7. WAF – Stops hackers at the door before they touch your app. Bookmark it.

AI runs on data. Your data. Tech giants scrape the internet, collect user interactions, and buy datasets to train their models. Now, platforms are charging companies to access the data you created. It doesn't have to be this way. Join the data revolution. Own your data, own your impact.

The Dawn of a New Era on $SUI (9) Still in the festive spirit, let’s look at Tusky , Tusky is a storage service that's not controlled by one company. It uses something called WalrusProtocol to keep your data safe. Your data is encrypted from start to finish, so only you can see it. Instead of one place, your data goes to many different spots. This setup makes your data less likely to be lost or stolen. It helps keep your information safe and always available. Tusky gives you control over your files. You can easily manage them with the tools provided. You decide who gets to see your data. This makes it great for personal storage or working with others. It works with SuiNetwork for even more privacy. You can log in without sharing personal info, keeping everything more secure. This means only you can get to your data, with no third party involved. It is growing fast, with 100,000 uploads already. This indicates its increasing acceptance in the tech community focused on data sovereignty. It's good at managing lots of data safely. In tech, where you want to own your data, TuskyTools is popular. It gives users control over their information. This platform helps keep your data secure and gives you freedom.

🧵 Understanding Zama; the future of privacy tech & homomorphic encryption 1️⃣ Zama is pioneering fully homomorphic encryption (FHE). A breakthrough that lets you compute on encrypted data without decrypting it. 🔐 That means total privacy, even the system running your data can’t see it. 2️⃣ Why it matters: Right now, cloud apps, AI models, and databases must access your raw data to work. FHE changes that. your data stays private while still usable. 3️⃣ Zama builds open-source FHE tools for developers, turning advanced cryptography into practical products for AI, blockchain, and Web3. 4️⃣ Imagine: •AI that learns without reading your secrets 🤖 •Blockchain transactions with zero data leaks •Cloud apps that never see your info 5️⃣ Zama’s mission: Privacy should be the default, not an option. They’re making privacy-preserving tech simple, scalable, and open for everyone. 🔚 In a world obsessed with data, Zama might just be building the encryption layer of the future internet. 🌐

🤯 Wow I can't believe I'm open sourcing the email platform we built internally. Self-hosted, runs on your own AWS SES. You pay Amazon Web Services $0.10 per 1,000 emails instead of a SaaS markup, and your email data never leaves your infra. MIT licensed. Here's what it does 🧵

OpenAI's Deep Research is getting a run for its money. Deep Lake was just released, and it's a different take on an AI system that can do deep research on your own data. You can use Deep Lake to build AI search with reasoning on your private and public data. (Look at the attached videos to get an idea of how it works.) If you want to research proprietary and sensitive data, Deep Research won't help you because it's limited to public data. Deep Lake, however, will allow you to use your private data. On top of that, Deep Lake supports multi-modal retrieval from the ground up. It uses vision language models for data ingestion and retrieval so that you can connect any data (PDFs, images, videos, structured data, etc.) You can even use mixed-data queries! Deep Lake can search your data from S3, Dropbox, and GCP. It learns from your queries over time, making the results as relevant to your work as possible!
