SA Government instructs employers to use repealed legislation from 1950 to classify employees by race. Over the last year of pressing the Department of Employment and Labour for answers, NEASA has finally received a response. According to the Department, employers should use the Apartheid-regime's Population Registration Act of 1950 for Employment Equity racial classification.
