In this economy? Myghaaad, who would want stress, burden, and struggle raising multiple kids with a minimum wage that can't even cover one's food, housing, electricity, and water bill, let alone a family of 3 or more.

Also, with the kind of government we have, if we cannot migrate to other countries, we would rather not bear children that would experience or carry the hardship of being a Filipino.

Sa Singapore kapag nanganak ka suportado ng gobyerno bibigyan ka pa ng pera dito sa Pinas pa pahirapan yung pamilya mamuhay

I have a daughter, 2 nieces and 4 nephews. I asked them if the will have kids in the future since their ages are between 24-29 already except for a niece that’s 17. Only 1 niece and 1 nephew said yes. The rest said DINK (Double Income, No Kids) na lang daw sila!

There is no such thing as declining birthrate in the Philippines. The highly populated Class D&E Filipino make up for early teenage pregnancies. Poverty makes one malibog.

Im an only child in a middle class family with 32 cousins 7 aunts and 4 uncles, I've experienced having to eat rice and sugar as my daily meal, I've seen the struggles of this country's failing economy. Bringing a child into this world without the means to raise it is torture

In this kind of economy?! Who would even want a child when we can only feed ourselves! I wouldn’t want my children to starve and struggle! That would be soooo selfish and irresponsible. I’d rather be the only one struggling than let my children suffer!
