@IainDale Let’s be honest - the Tories still have no idea why they are despised by their own ex-voters. They don’t think they did anything wrong when they were in government. As a Tory voter of 30 years, I absolutely despise them now.

@IainDale From inventing imaginary advice from Giorgia Meloni to misleading the public on basic data, Badenoch's team has been caught in a total pack of lies. The Tories haven't changed-they're still the same dishonest, self-serving club that broke Britain's trust.

@IainDale Badenoch's new policy paper claims the state should "tax less and interfere less"-but she voted for every crushing tax rise under the last Tory govt. Don't fall for the fake transformation. The Conservatives lied to us for 14 years, and they are lying to us now. No thanks.

@IainDale Empty seats, bored audiences, and zero answers for working people. When even loyal Tory broadcasters like Iain Dale can't pretend to be interested, the party is completely finished. 14 years of economic destruction, and this hollow shell is all they have left.

@IainDale Failed Conservative Parliamentary candidate in sour grapes shock

@IainDale Maybe, with everything being so expensive these days, ordinary members can't afford conference anymore @IainDale. Also, Conservatives have jobs.

@IainDale What a shame but the tories and badenoch are yesterday’s news and the policies ridiculous. Benefits for the wealthy scrapping our human rights !

@IainDale Surprise surprise. The electorate are not buying the sort of far right zionist bullshit that LBC and Dale have to peddle.

@IainDale @KEdge23 sounds like the Tory conference is amazing Amazingly boring Amazingly poorly attended And Iain Dale is definitely a Tory for him to say this tells you all you need to know about your “Tory/Kemi bounce”

@IainDale Party Conferences are for a bye-gone age. Just not needed anymore

@IainDale When the Tories get slaughtered by a man who ran to be a Tory MP a couple of years ago it’s an inditement. But Iain says what he sees and calls it out. Too many of the pundits talk of Kemi like she’s the messiah. I just can’t see it. And poll ratings remain low.

@IainDale What are you talking about the hall has frequently been packed to the rafters? You need to follow the agenda so you know when the big speeches are on.

@IainDale Iain will never be selected as a candidate at this rate! 😉

@IainDale It’s supposed to be boring All work is boring It’s a works conference not a variety show Never heard anything like it!!! It’s not entertainment!!! Ffs 🤦🏽♀️ Unbelievable Who do you want Kevin bloody Bridges

@IainDale It was electric in the old days when there would be speeches from Thatcher, Hestletine, Parkinson, Baker, Tebbit, even through the generation of Clark, Portillo and Hague. These days it's hard to see who could really capture an audience and who would say something original.

@IainDale I assumed he was talking about his show!

@Fox_Claire @IainDale He would say that working for the Labour Party broadcasting company another closet liberal

@IainDale Whenever a Conservative is interviewed on their future, they say, "They (voters) haven't forgiven us." This is heads in the sand, not recognising they (Conservatives) were the problem, not the voters.

@IainDale I'd be bored around Iain as well. Man's a dullard

@IainDale Oh, Iain... this is the resurgent Tories under Kemi Badenoch's inspirational leadership! She's obviously taken her cue from the hugely successful privatisation of the water industry.

@IainDale Had Starmer still been PM, the Tory conference would probably have been rocking. Nobody in the conservative ranks believed Labour would have the bollocks to overthrow their PM AND for it to pay off with Burnham still the most popular politician in the country.

@ColumboPolitico @IainDale Just because they chucked him out as a ppc

@Fox_Claire @IainDale He’s a lefty Cnut

@IainDale And this is from Iain Dale so it must be bad

@IainDale In a cost of living crisis I thought we'd get policies that look to Improve our lives, instead we have free nursery care for those over £100,000 & a Britannia Dome!

@IainDale Left wing journalists aren’t really doing their job if they can’t report the news.

@IainDale It’s almost as if the Tory party is utterly irrelevant bar for the headlines in the Tory press pretending Kemi is doing well - they have never looked so isolated, a kind of Reform lite, that vacated the centre

@IainDale As a neutral, I’d much rather all parties stopped this conference (piss up) nonsense and get on with attempting to run the country.

@IainDale That's not fair. The Griffith finale was hilarious.

@NicholasTyrone @IainDale No surprise - unceremoniously booted out of office in 24 and have barely come to terms with that -witness the tone deaf efforts of the shadow chancellor. They don’t understand why they lost and their credibility is still in minus figures. KB wittering on about common wont cut it!

@IainDale If numbers are down, maybe it's because normal people really don't go to party conferences?! Interesting observation (as ever Mr D), but surely it's all about the money shot of the leader's speech. I think if that falls flat it's more telling.

@IainDale Your reason for empty seats, bored audiences and ridicule of journalists. The number one issue in Britain at the moment is immigration and the Tories can't be trusted on that issue. Unelectable for me.Tiny, tiny chance of coalition with Reform but Nigel knows the Tories are toxic

@IainDale Tory conference 100% Yawnability factor!

@IainDale Iain Reform
