While I have premium I definitely want to do a long post breaking down the main scene from this show that I obsess with. There's so much that I feel could be learned from it. Not just for expansion animators either. There's honestly a LOT that can be learned from how this show directed its expansion scenes that can be applied to even safe for work animations. Obviously yes, the expansion alone is really good. What makes it so good though is just the fact that there's things you pick up on that you likely don't even realize until you re-watch. I'm using this scene as an example as it's not AS good I would say, but it still has a lot going for it. One thing I've always loved from it that I want to use in my own animations someday is that the expansion sort of comes in waves as opposed to one consistent growth. In a way, it makes it feel more natural while also selling how tight the top is getting. It could have been accompanied by showing the knot getting tighter or smaller with each growth. It's a small part of the animation but just that one thing already adds another layer to appreciate. It's not like most expansion scenes where there's very little outside of just "growing" on its own. There's a bunch of little things that subtly improve it without being obnoxious. The first expansion scene has WAY more that I want to talk about honestly. Far more than this one has. It will probably be a really long post now that I think about it...

IN MY OPINION If Mr. Miles Guo wants to come out, I do believe that he has an option to make it happen - The question is, why doesn’t he do it ? Once he is released, he will give us an answer in a way that will be unexpected, which may lead to some need more questions while others might fully understand. In my mind, all I knew was that everything he did was because of the NFSC, not just for himself alone. He chose to suffer in order to show that the new Chinese people will be recognized and respected by the whole world. No one knows the detailed outcome of his case more than he does. Up to date, CCP isn’t focused on trying to keep him imprisoned for as long as possible anymore; instead, they are more concerned about how they can face him once he is released.

A new GTA 6 actor has potentially been discovered. Keep in mind that this is absolutely nowhere near as clear cut as some of the other cast members (Stephen Root, Manni L Perez, Dylan Rourke etc) but at the very least I do think that there’s a strong case for it. u/Significant-Cry4539 posted to Reddit that they think John Ortiz is the cop from Trailer 2. I can definitely see a similarity in the face. The accent is also the same. However, I can’t find a clip where he speaks in the same tone as the GTA 6 character does, which makes it hard to say for sure. John has also commonly played police officers in the past. He starred as one in Nobody 2 just last year. Rockstar is clearly open to casting popular actors in GTA 6 too considering Stephen Root is playing Brian. I definitely think that this could end up being correct but I’m still far from certain. There’s not any real evidence outside of a resemblance, similar voice and previous roles. It could for sure end up being somebody else. Fun speculation though!

For the market, this is a signal: “WAR IS EXPENSIVE for everyone—time to take profits and reopen ports.” - The S&P 500 and Nasdaq are showing optimism because easing tensions in the Strait of Hormuz is instant profit for the global economy. As soon as news about a possible second round of negotiations came out, oil started cooling off. This unloads inflation and gives markets a reason to move higher. - Sources from Pakistan (where the tensions are happening) leaked info that the deal was 80% ready. Yes, they didn’t sign over the weekend, but they are very close. Now mediators (Egypt, Turkey, and Pakistan) have stepped in to push through the remaining 20%. Iran is backed into a corner by the blockade and wants its assets unfrozen. Trump wants a “GRAND DEAL”. To go down in history as a peacemaker and crash gasoline prices. You can also see that after the "FAILED" negotiations in Islamabad, the market didn't CRASH. Instead, it started rising on headlines about continued dialogue, which is the best indicator. I mean you do have a very good point, however I hope you can understand where I come from. (Sorry I’m advance for the long tweet back) This is exactly what I use to do when I was their age. We didn’t have the luxury of an independent scene we do now and even if we did I was 14 years old, I was only allowed to go to a training school to learn the basics. But I had an enormous passion for the business & if I wasn’t allowed to work shows I’d do it myself. - and I’d argue that because of this I had a head start on a lot of the people I trained with when I finally turned 18 From there I’ve been lucky enough to have the support of friends, peers & fans to push me into what I am today. The fact I’ve still had that same style for now 17 years and this is my first surgery, I think I’ve looked after my body. Think about it 17 years this is my first major injury. You think this is stupid, I would say it’s equally as stupid as to fall off a scaffolding breaking both your legs. And while I’m sure there’s a few people that wished you landed on your head, I for one hope you’re doing well & not in too much pain from your injury. But to me, it showed the care that you have for the industry at that time. I see myself in these guys that are finding any outlet to do what they love. Their bumps are solid & basing is great. Like I said I understand there is a level of danger doing this so I hope none of them get hurt but I can’t help but root for these guys and hope I one day see them in a ring. Once again sorry for the long arse tweet and hope the message finds you well boss.

Halo 343 Studios: Here's 6 hours of Halo Ring start menu we probably spent 1.2 million making... Random X User: I think AI is better (prompts, 30 seconds later). Internet: Explodes. I'm sorry, but 343 got mogged judging by the reactions. You can nit at the AI video, but imagine if they spent a week polishing it rather than 5 minutes. This is a combination of 343 just not being good enough to deserve Halo and AI getting better every day. The comments are completely predictable. Every artist is defending the 343 version, not because they really thought about it, but because the perceive AI as a threat that must be taken out at all costs. Meanwhile non-artists see a lot of merit to the AI version and the potential. I see the issues with the AI version, but I bet you a few more days on the AI version, perhaps generating 3D assets with it, would end up being the clear winner.
