Personal preference would be too cook those onions off first and get em really sweet. But this is a great family meal on the cheap 👍

Sausage pilaf, and it doesn't need to be made with a bunch of ready mixed spices and cans of sauce... some chopped peppers, turmeric, select fresh spices, and it won't taste like a circus in your mouth.
