END THE DIVERSITY VISA LOTTERY. This program selects foreigners at random, without regard for merit or their willingness to assimilate into American society. Congress can eliminate it. What are we waiting for?

It’s not random, though. When people enter the Diversity Visa lottery, it’s because they believe in the promise of the American dream. Bringing self-selected strivers from across the globe makes our country stronger and more beautiful.

It's a shame you are so uneducated about the Diversity program and how laws work. The Judge instructed the government to run the program as required by law, as passed by Congress. Congress can end that, yes - but they haven't. This administration can't decide not to run it

My husband came here from Denmark through the Diversity Visa Lottery program. Since then, he’s built businesses, created jobs, paid taxes, and contributed generously to charity. America is better because of him, and so many other immigrants.

It is not true, numbers are against the claim, look at Figure 1 in the report: Diversity visa migrants have significantly better education than national average. Moreover, DV migrants have lower unemployment than other migrants:

Fraud is real, but it's already being fixed: since 2026 every entry needs a valid passport and a $1 fee. Winners also pass the same background checks and interview as any other immigrant. Fix the problems, don't kill the program.
