idk why I'm here but I have a solution. if a monster isn't close enough you can sleep, but once In bed, the mobs can get as close as they want to. so all she had to do was wait for Steve to lay down to sleep, then get into bed

Everytime i see these i'm reminded of when endermen were introduced. The AI was kinda buggy and the first one our server came accross wouldn't agro. It just followed some of the other players around (i was off doing my own thing building shit). They started calling it "the frienderman". It followed them around for several hours before the AI caught up and it knoked out 2 players. One of the funniest things to ever happen in that game.
