I think we can also , in addition to awareness about hygiene and public health, make it easy and cheap / fairly convenient to dispose off waste and refuse. Some very low income families struggle to pay for garbage collection.

They behave exactly like their leaders

That's why the capital should be relocated, such people together with the pick pockets should be left in the old city, they'll not change

Very dangerous and irresponsible. These open trenches are already a risk to lives and public health.

Signs of ignorance, under development and poverty. You can't blame this on these individuals in camera. There's a big line of individuals who should be blamed for this!

If the country had dustbins on every street this would’ve happened 🤔

We Ugandans are our own enemy, I agree with mzee M7 to use foreigners for certain positions

Is it raiining today, or is this an old clip?

We should just understand that people do this because there are no options! Otherwise if there were areas properly gazetted where garbage can be disposed off then why should a sane person do this! However, I strongly condemn the act and the culprit should be hunted down!

She's right, why doesn't the gov't pick that trash coz it's there role since she pays tax

Now you realize that we are our own problems. There is this thing that I don't like. People throwing out buveera and plastic bottles when traveling either in bus or small cars. I alway argue with fellow passengers all the time. People don't realize we are killing the environment

The problem is, there is no where else to dump it at no cost. And that's what needs to be addressed. You calculate the cost of unblocking the tunnels and floods and that of availing where to dump it, then you choose the best option.

You didn't blame her, blame government who has failed to provide reliable garbage collection contractors.

Noo noo museveni is the problem🤨🤨🥲🥲

@Buzeki_Sharifah check out this lady, after here we blame Mr Hamis

These are peasants who were supposed to be in the village, not in the city. But also, has she been provided with an option? If she doesn't take it in the drainage, where else can she discard the trash?

Your just joking. Have you ever been in kampala or any place in this city while it's raining all of a sudden, the air is foul with sewage? Then this, guy, your scratching on the surface.

First place why are trenches left open??

@KCCAUG come and arrest these fools

i even feel like she is dumping it into my heart and soul, mpulira mfaaaa eiii

Too many people justifying what they're doing, that's sickening. Flooding because of clogged drainage systems causes worse than your reasons for justifying their actions. We're talking diseases, losses in businesses and more. Love Uganda but encouraging Ugandans to do better

A big number of urban settlers needs sensentazation not only on general cleanliness but personal hygiene too, imagine these are parents who are grooming the next generation. Government must first provide Ugandans with education for our country to achieve development.

Let government Put up Structures and systems that can collect this rubbish 🗑 from such muntu wawansi as we all know they can hardly afford 5k a month to pay the collectors_

They actually know what they are doing is wrong. They first ascertain whether they are being watched 🤦🏻♂️

For every action taken in a community, there is an underlying cause or driver of such an action, we can't be quick to judge. If the public health concerns have not been addressed from the past, what do you expect from an uniformed peasant?

Sorry to sound controversial but I Can’t blame them May be that all they know…..are there garbage collection areas in that place? Have they been sensitized?

Kale you can imagine someone doing this.

And they also blame the government

3000/50Kg bag

𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒏𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒄𝒂𝒏'𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒍𝒆 𝒓𝒖𝒃𝒃𝒊𝒔𝒉 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒎😏😏

It's ignorance mixed with lack of service delivery ,garbage collection should be a free service from KCCA ,especially for the low income earners .

She just needs good canes very sic

People like that need to be apprehended
