Our Senators need to invoke the talking filibuster and debate this. Please pass the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility Act! Proof of U.S. citizenship, like a passport or birth certificate to register for federal elections, plus photo ID at the polls.

The LONGEST filibuster was Strom Thurmond... he spoke for 24 hours and 18 minutes. The Civil Rights Act filibuster lasted 57 days. Let's be clear... the current Democrats absolutely do not have the longevity or commitment to filibuster this issue like Democrats of yesteryear did against civil rights (they were committed racists and ideologues against black people).
