Another favourite thing of mine I admire about Jonasi from #ThePolygamist is that he has never missed a birth of his kids. But also Gomora's standard for being present at his children's births highlights the deeply contradictory nature of his character. While he prides himself on showing up for those monumental medical milestones, his presence at delivery stands in stark contrast to his complete emotional abandonment and selfishness in daily life. It feels less like genuine fatherly devotion and more like a tactical ego boost to reinforce his role as the ultimate patriarch. Jonasi uses moments like being in the delivery room to tell himself he is a "good, traditional man". Yet, he has no issue leaving his family in emotional ruin. Showing up for the birth gives him an immediate sense of ownership and control over the mother and the newborn. It was delayed because, during this delicate period, Prince Harry caused a selfish scene by insisting that Meghan Markle accompany him to Balmoral. There was a ridiculous back and forth for some time when the decision was made in the end to leave without him 🙄 The Royal Family, opted against his current wife’s presence, largely due to the contentious statements made during the Oprah interview, which had already strained familial ties and was a catalyst for trashing the last year of the late Queen's life. Also, the Queen’s loyal staff didn’t want Markle there, they didn’t particularly want Harry there either as he was and is as disloyal and cruel. All Harry wanted to know was if Catherine was going. Had Harry’s wife Meghan Markle not been in Windsor, The Princess of Wales would have joined the family in Balmoral but she opted to stayed behind with her children but also to stop Harry’s nonsense and ranting 🤷🏽 Everyone’s wish was to shield this private and sacred moment from unnecessary drama and media leaks. Sadly Prince William, Prince Edward and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh arrived too late to say goodbye 🥺😔😥💔 Regrettably, what was meant to remain a confidential family gathering was later disclosed in Harry’s book, "Spare," an action many perceived as a betrayal of trust by revealing such personal family affairs to the public and for millions of pounds. BREAKING NEWS: Police are searching for Colonel Ismail Dawood. His lawyer’s assured police he will hand himself over and he did not. Gauteng anti corruption unit pounced on Dawood’s townhouse complex in Sandhurst JHB- he was not home. They’ve now launched a search. He is being wanted on a charge of extortion amounting to over R350 000. A warrant of arrest was issued earlier. Colonel Dawood is a senior South African Police Service (SAPS) Crime Intelligence officer. He has been arrested for extortion believed to about R350 000. Dawood has earned a reputation for leading several high-profile kidnapping investigations and rescue operations, helping secure the release of numerous victims and arresting suspected kidnappers. At the same time, Dawood is a controversial police officer. Over the years, he has faced multiple allegations and investigations relating to his conduct in various operations, including claims of kidnapping, assault, torture, extortion, corruption and murder. He has been linked to a judicial inquest into the 2010 death of Solomon “Solly” Nengwane while in police custody and has also been investigated by the Independent Police Investigative Directorate (IPID) over other incidents, including a 2022 hostage rescue operation in which two women were shot. Dawood has consistently denied all allegations against him. More recently, Dawood and KwaZulu-Natal Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi were the subject of an internal SAPS disciplinary process after allegations of kidnapping, extortion and corruption were made by suspected Mozambican kidnapping kingpin Esmael Nangy. sometimes i think abt how hardworking and disciplined minho has been for all his life .. he volunteered at elderly homes, he took on multiple jobs while also studying to afford dance classes, he lived alone at a young age, he donated to sponsor children, he gave what he could to others even when he didn’t have much himself.. he took in stray kitties without hesitation and without even asking his mom first, just cus of how kind his heart is… </3 and even while he was working towards his dream he put others before himself along the way.. he never head it easy, he was never given anything for free… he always had to work hard for it and he never complained he got eliminated on the survival show for the sole reason of using his pain for engagement. he walked home in the rain cus he felt like he didn’t deserve a taxi. they broke him and disrespected him and he still showed up the next day to keep going and give everything he has. his dedication and commitment is insane ;; it honestly makes me so emotional… i feel sad thinking abt everything he went thru but at the same time i know this was always his dream. i don’t care abt streams or charts at all but seeing where the group is now just gives me so much relief. it means all his effort and hard work wasn’t for nothing :( i’m just rly proud for him… i’m so glad he got to achieve what he worked so hard for. today he’s able to buy the prettiest toys and treats for his kitties, able to spoil his family, able to casually buy a gucci bag for his dads bday… his face is on the biggest screens, everyone knows him. he must feel so accomplished </3 u came so far. i’m so so so proud of u minho. u deserve everything u have and so much more

Cox auditioned for the role of a young Han Solo (for Solo: A Star Wars Story). Halfway through, the casting director stopped him to ask why he wasn't looking at them. He spent weeks working with Joe Strechay, a blindness consultant, at the New York State Commission for the Blind to learn how to navigate with a cane and orient himself without looking. He practiced keeping his eyes unfocused and deliberately avoided the natural instinct to look at people when they spoke. During filming, he occasionally wore opaque contact lenses that made him temporarily blind so he wouldn't instinctively track movement with his eyes. He realized he had spent two years training his brain not to make eye contact, a habit that had become an unconscious reflex even in high-stakes professional meetings.

In the summer of 1980, a distraught 7th grade boy stood in the courtyard of a modest house in Mylapore, watching his father toss his cricket bat down a deep well. A fast bouncer had shattered the boy's spectacles during a local match & his father, a renowned Sanskrit logician, was terrified for his son's sight. "Your cricket days are done," his father declared, handing him a violin. "If you want to master precision, master this." The boy did not throw a tantrum. He directed his focus toward the strings, training until he was performing alongside musical legends, even taking direct corrections from Bharat Ratna M.S. Subbulakshmi. 5 yrs later, he suffered another blow: he failed to clear the IIT-JEE examination. He did not give up. He enrolled in a regional engineering college, quietly mastering computer science logic gates. He eventually worked his way into IIT Madras as a postgrad researcher, earned a PhD, joined as a prof & eventually became the Director of the very institute that had once turned him away. By 2011, while the world was building consumer mobile apps, this prof was looking at a hidden national vulnerability: every radar, fighter jet, banking server & defense system in India was running on foreign-designed microprocessors. He had a single question in his mind: "We can test that a foreign chip does what we WANT it to do. But can we guarantee it does not do something we DO NOT want it to do when a war starts?" He proposed building a completely indigenous, industrial-grade microprocessor from scratch. Global tech giants insisted it could not be done w/o billions of dollars in infrastructure & massive foreign patents. He did not care. Working out of cramped labs on long shifts, he & his team adopted the open source RISC-V instruction set. They hand-coded logic gates, mapped silicon layouts & verified billions of instruction cycles. In July 2018, a tiny 16mm² piece of silicon codenamed Risecreek arrived back at the lab. The team wired it up, flipped the switch & watched a flickering monitor as the Linux operating system booted on 100% Indian-designed silicon for the 1st time in history. Today, his SHAKTI processor architecture powers everything from defense communications to space grade controllers built in collaboration with ISRO.
