Engagement Farming is ruining this app. It distorts the algorithm making it harder for users to find authentic posts. And it drains the ad revenue pot for real creatives. All this from ONE account in just SIX days... 😲

Totally agree. I appreciate your original content. You actually do work.

Thank you. I appreciate that.

Haha, we all know who that account is... The thing is doing questions once or twice at random times a day is well and good... gives account reach, helps us to have good conversation with people, gives us interesting perspectives etc.... which others posts might not... But these many questions a day is done only for one purpose.

The algorithm is absolute cack, that's the problem.

One of the MANY problems.

Still here, stop in once a day to see my favorite accounts, hit the 'like' button a couple of times, then, byeee. Just too depressing here compared to what T was & not joining any other 'social media' platforms cuz humans now are freakin' crazier than a bunch of drunken bedbugs.

I loved old T. Such a great family feel.

Respectfully, accounts like mine are also a part of the issue which feed the problem . . . I’m a slave to the likes and my account stats (which seem odd especially coming from me, but it’s absolutely true). My views are 5x to 20x more than when I just post content myself and my growth is much better as well. The issue is I’m responding to questions way beneath me “the best hat in film” or the “the best outfit”. This seriously gets old after answering the same question for the 10th time in as many months. I’d hate to quote Michael Jackson (not a fan) but maybe looking at the Man in the Mirror might be the right way to go and stop being a “slut for views” which also feeds the beast (not the beast account, but the accounts that know how to work the algorithm machine at X). Respectfully I’m taking a weekend to grab a few beers and to regroup.

Not like this. These are posting 16 to 20 engagement farming questions per day. I think asking a question if you then engage with the answers and you're actually curious to what people are saying, then it's fine. These guys just throw out a question and that's it. They're not even interested in anybody's answer.

That is a factor. Also: "I'm a millionaire and will give $10k to the first..." "_____ has the best insights and has led me to prosperity.." I'm sure they'll populate this post with botplies.

I've already had one 😂🤣
