I thought the Benelli M2-G1 was just a new version of the M2. I was wrong. The M2 is still the M2 — still inertia-driven, still selling, still doing what it has always done. The M2-G1 is something else entirely. It’s gas operated, rear piston operated, with dual pistons collecting gas near the chamber and the recoil spring protected behind the receiver. In other words, Benelli built a new lane and parked it right between the M2 and the M4. And that’s where my problem starts. The M4 is still the M4. It has ARGO, auto-regulation, self-cleaning pistons, decades of reputation, and a war record behind it. But after shooting the M2-G1, I keep waiting for the moment where it reminds me I picked the cheaper gun. I haven’t found it yet. For duty use and extreme round counts, the M4 still wins. But for home defense, a truck gun, a range gun, or the shotgun that needs to work at three in the morning? Benelli may have made the M2-G1 a little too good.

The BMW Z8 was a halo roadster that arrived almost by accident. A V8-powered grand tourer built with real presence, real craftsmanship, and a design that instantly became iconic. At the time it was compared with cars like the Aston Martin DB7 Vantage, Ferrari 360 Spider, and Porsche 996 Carrera 4S or Turbo. That alone shows what level BMW was aiming for. Yet the Z8 was never followed by anything similar. It feels like a car from an era when BMW still allowed itself to build something purely because it was beautiful and special, not because it fit into a product plan.

While everyone is wagon crazy today after the BMW reveal, let’s not forget the Syms GF8 Impreza. Syms took an Impreza wagon and turned it into a front engine, rear wheel drive JTCC race car. It weighed about 1000 kg and used a naturally aspirated EJ20 making around 300 hp, fed through a huge carbon airbox in the hood scoop. It had a six speed sequential gearbox, double wishbone race suspension, a wide track, big brakes, and a full JTCC aero kit with a functional rear wing designed specifically for the wagon. It could not keep up with the factory Toyota teams, but the engineering was wild, and a lot of that development later influenced Syms performance parts.

Residents of Siberia are asking China for help and say they are even ready to learn Chinese In Irkutsk, locals recorded a video address to Putin, complaining about a severe shortage of school places. They asked the Russian authorities to turn to China with a request to finance the construction of a school. There's no regulations about every 2 years when you have to clean out a cooling closed system, where are you gonna throw all of those chemicals?” “Taking polluted water and running it through system and dumping it into a river and it flows downstream, that will have a natural dilution, would resolve the issue, and it's not. Audi A2. A car you probably forgot existed. And that’s strange because this was ahead of its time. Aluminium body, lightweight and maximum efficiency to achieve 100 mpg. Built for efficiency before it became a trend. The design was unusual, looked more like a blob, but it was functional. Didn’t really fit what people expected from Audi at the time. And that’s where it struggled. It was smart, but not appealing. So people ignored it and maybe went for an A6 or A4. And today, it’s one of those cars you remember… but never really talk about.
