This is called sandering. It’s a method where they pour raw cement on the surface of a plastered wall then coat it with sand to form an aesthetically pleasing surface . It’s an interior designing process .

That's not plastering it's called screeding they do this when tilers want to install wall tiles, after that thing they use a square iron pipe to make it straight leave it till the next day before putting the tiles with raw cement

It’s not plastering. It’s the bedding to receive wall tiles. It’s a method popular used by Togo/cutonu ( Egun) tillers. Very good and effective

They have clearly plastered those walls before probably it was a really bad work, now they are applying that sand for grip before they will replaster it and also to reduce cost because they could have add cement too which will require additional cost

Let me explain it very clearly,this is my work it's tiling work this process is called dry plaster after the plastering we screed the wall with a good range to perfection then we pour another water cement to the wall and start laying tiles it's mostly practiced by the togolese

It’s wall filling. That sand you see is mix with cement added with little water. They are just trying to fill the wall before rubbing with cement
