Gary Neville criticises Thomas Tuchel’s tactics after England’s World Cup semi-final defeat to Argentina. 🗣️ “I’m absolutely stunned by what I’ve just watched. England didn’t lose because Argentina were unbeatable they lost because they completely abandoned everything that got them to the semi-final. Thomas Tuchel has to take the biggest share of the blame.” “You score against the defending world champions, you’ve got the momentum, the crowd behind you and confidence flowing… and then you decide to park the bus? I honestly couldn’t believe my eyes. That isn’t smart football that’s surrender.” “The message from the touchline was obvious: ‘Drop deeper, protect the lead and hope for the best.’ Against Lionel Messi? Against Argentina? That’s one of the biggest tactical mistakes you’ll ever see in a World Cup semi-final.” “The deeper England dropped, the more comfortable Argentina became. Every minute they spent defending invited more pressure. Messi started finding space, Argentina started believing, and England completely lost control of the game. It was like watching a slow-motion collapse.” “This England squad is packed with players who dominate matches every single week for Europe’s biggest clubs. Yet tonight they were told to defend like a team fighting relegation. That’s unacceptable. You don’t win World Cups by playing with fear.” “I feel sorry for the players because they’ll carry this heartbreak forever, but they were put in a position where they were reacting instead of controlling the game. The biggest mistake wasn’t made on the pitch it came from the technical area.” “This defeat will haunt England for years because the opportunity was there. A World Cup final was ninety minutes away, and instead of chasing history, England tried to protect it. Football doesn’t reward fear. It punishes it.” “Thomas Tuchel got this one badly wrong. When the biggest game arrived, England needed courage from the bench. Instead, they got caution and that decision cost an entire nation its World Cup dream.”

🚨Thomas Tuchel on England’s World Cup semi-final defeat to Argentina. 🗣️ “I have to say it because everyone watched the same match. The referee and VAR completely lost control of this game. In a World Cup semi-final, mistakes like these are unacceptable. You work four years for moments like this, and then crucial decisions are handled with unbelievable incompetence.” “The challenge on Anderson? How is that not given? The offside decisions? The fouls ignored? VAR had every angle, every replay, every opportunity to correct obvious errors and they still failed. If technology cannot get the biggest decisions right on the biggest stage, then what exactly is it there for?” “I don’t want excuses because England also made mistakes, but don’t ask me to stay silent when my players are denied fair decisions. We are told to respect referees, yet who takes responsibility when they get it completely wrong? Nobody. They apologise after the tournament while our dream is already over.” “This is a World Cup semi-final, not a training match. The standards should be the highest in football, yet tonight they were nowhere near good enough. One bad decision can change history, and England were forced to play against both Argentina and a refereeing performance that simply wasn’t at the required level.” “Argentina are a fantastic team and they punished our mistakes, but I refuse to pretend the officiating had no impact. It did. The referee and VAR created controversy from the first whistle until the last, and that should embarrass everyone responsible.” “England leave with heartbreak. Not only because we failed to reach the final, but because every player will always wonder what might have happened if the biggest match of their lives had been officiated properly. That is impossible to accept.”

Joe Cole responds to Thomas Tuchel’s comments after England’s World Cup semi-final defeat to Argentina. 🗣️ “I don’t want to hear excuses about facing strong teams. Everyone knew Argentina were the defending world champions before a ball was kicked. That’s not an excuse that was the challenge. If you want to win the World Cup, you have to beat the best.” “You scored first and then completely abandoned your identity. The moment England took the lead, they started playing with fear instead of belief. It was like watching a small team desperately hanging on instead of a nation trying to reach a World Cup final.” “You don’t score against Argentina and then spend the rest of the game camped inside your own penalty area. That’s football suicide. You invited pressure, gave Lionel Messi more time on the ball and practically begged Argentina to come back into the match. Against the greatest player of his generation, that’s asking to be punished.” “The tactical approach was shocking. Instead of going for the second goal and killing the game, England retreated deeper and deeper. Every substitution sent the same message: ‘Let’s survive.’ You don’t survive against world champions you either finish them off or they finish you.” “Don’t tell me England lost because Argentina were too good. England helped create their own downfall. This squad has enough quality to compete with anyone, but they were coached with fear instead of confidence.” “The painful truth is England weren’t beaten by talent alone they were beaten by a lack of courage. A World Cup final was within touching distance, and it slipped away because the manager chose to protect a one-goal lead instead of chasing history. That’s a decision England will regret for years.”

TeamSESH is dq'd from Challenger Series after qualifying for the event Q4 Game 1 enemy team protests for Kixa's moss based on the attached video as "proof of cheating". One of the guys on the other team admitted to us in dms that the protest was just cuz they were mad they lost. Head admin pauses our next game and makes us open a ticket; he requests moss from each of us. None of us had it for this first game because we agreed with the other team to not run it prior to the game (aforementioned player who dm'd Kixa was his friend). He then requests moss from all of us from our entire qual. I did not run moss on every game, given some games were against ppl I have played a thousand times and did not feel the need. Regardless this disqualification was from me not running moss for this qualifier. The admins did not care that we had provided dozens of previous moss files from our recent win in XGS and OCS. I understand that they felt they must make this ruling in order to stay in line with their rule book. I still feel that the way in which this was conducted was not within their own rule book given scrupulous evidence and requiring us all to provide moss for the report of one player. Regardless, I was in the wrong for not running it and have to accept that I costed my teams ability to show how hard we worked for this. Everyone with half a brain knows that we do not cheat. Major apologies to everyone that was waiting to see what we could do. We appreciate your support and we will not let a mistake define who we are.
