From the right side he boasts a mid to high 90s fastball touching 98 with good movement, and then a mid 80s slider which is his best complementary pitch. The changeup is hard and while it's his third best pitch, getting him the Cardinals organization should help him develop that changeup further. Cijntje is an elite pitcher against right handed batters holding them to a .166 average and a .480 OPS, though he struggles against lefties giving up a .252 average and a .845 OPS.
