This is such a sweet thing to know about him and it makes me look at his style in a totally different way. Colman is lovely. 🫶

The part about never seeing images of himself in tailoring as a kid is the real through-line. You can feel that gap-closing impulse in the silk suits and those huge coats, not just the red carpet stuff. Even the black tee and trousers in the interview look like a decision rather than default.

He is a treasure.

No idea who he is but black tee shirt and trousers (jeans?) which is literally how I dress, being a middle-aged, sadly increasingly-paunchy dad. Do I get on that list too?

Random question, but do you think tan suits go well with south asian skin tones? I always feel like tan or beige looks better on lighter skin tones and unconsciously go for darker suit colours instead.
