Is unbound worth it if I just wanna beat the story, unlock a bunch of cars, and just ride and chill? I did this with horizon 5 but the location just didn't "do it" for me, you know?

If you can get it for less than $20 I would say yes, otherwise it's not worth it. Like other people mentioned, pretty much all the content are in the multiplayer, and the single player experience is one of the worst in the series imo.
