She explained that her parents distanced themselves from her because of her work and public profile in the advlt entertainment industry, which made things very difficult for her emotionally. Over time, she said she found peace and stopped blaming herself for how they treated her. “I found peace with it, and I found peace with the understanding that, for too many years I carried the blame for getting into c0rn as the reason my parents treated me h0rribly.”
