This is a big update! visionOS 2.4 Beta is now available and I’m genuinely excited! The public release hits in April, but here’s the rundown of what’s available in visionOS 2.4 Beta today: • Apple Intelligence is coming to Vision Pro! All those rumors that said the first model wouldn’t get it. Dead wrong. We’re getting Image Playground to whip up fun images, Genmoji for custom emojis, and my personal favorite, Writing Tools. This is just the start of Apple Intelligence on Vision Pro and I’m excited to see where it takes us. • Guest User feature! Hand your Vision Pro to someone, and your nearby iPhone or iPad pings with an 'Allow Guest User' option. You pick their apps from your device, kick off View Mirroring with AirPlay to see what they’re seeing, and guide them through the experience. It’s clean, easy, and something many of us have been asking for. • A new Spatial Gallery app! Apple’s curating a stunning lineup of spatial photos, videos, and panoramas from artists, filmmakers, and brands like Cirque du Soleil and Porsche. Can’t wait to dive into that. • A new Vision Pro app for iPhone! Browse and queue up apps or games to download, discover spatial content from Apple TV and Spatial Gallery, and grab handy tips—all from your iPhone. long time no posting, here's some of the stuff we released in helium recently: - customizable keyboard shortcuts on all platforms - automatic updates on windows - frameless mode (previously zen mode), with floating sidebar, is now out of beta and included in settings by default - improved fingerprint noising: fixed the canvas noising algorithm and added protections against analysis attacks (thank you Cynthia 🐈 for your report, research, and assistance) - tab URL copying, one or multiple, formatted as a list with line breaks - manual tab hibernation, with an option to hibernate all tabs except for selected/active ones - an option to close tabs to the left (or above, in vertical layout) - redesigned toast notifications, now anchored to the active web page, and no longer blinding in dark mode - toast notification about newly opened background tabs in frameless mode (can be disabled in settings) - redesigned the infobar, it no longer looks out of place - improved QR code generation, now it's actually useful - downloads bubble is now shown instead of the full page whenever applicable - kagi search now supports reverse image search from image context menu - frameless mode animations are now smoother - better color contrast in light and dark modes - a lot of bug fixes and other minor improvements all of these changes are present in the latest version of helium. if you're using helium on windows, please update to the latest version, so your browser can be updated automatically from now on!

The keyboard on iOS is the worst I have ever used in comparison to what’s available on Android. When AI voice dictation came out, it quickly became my primary input interface on both desktop and mobile. Though, on mobile it was quite limited to specific apps, cuz in many cases it is not that good or completely missing. Around a month ago, it finally changed when I had a chance to beta test Typeless keyboard for iOS. There, it can be synced between mobile and desktop apps, so I would have access to all my configurations as well as to the dictation history. It comes with a seamless way to switch between typing and dictation and a wave animation (quite an important part), so you can see if it is actually recording what you say. Typeless enables vibe coding in tools like Claude Code or AI Studio from mobile. A custom dictionary saves loads of time cuz you don’t have to correct all your abbreviations that other voice dictation solutions misspell. You can easily access dictated text on your other devices, and it also saves your dictated text from being accidentally lost (a common issue with the dictation feature on other apps). while we don’t know for sure if the iPhone mirroring feature will come to the Apple Vision Pro, I sure hope it does. for now, it's available on Mac—i tested it and it's amazing! here’s how you can experience it on your Mac today: 1. make sure both your iPhone and Mac are running the latest beta versions of iOS 18 and macOS Sequoia. 2. position your iPhone near your Mac. 3. an icon titled "iPhone Mirroring" will appear on your Mac's Dock. 4. select the "Continue" button on your Mac. 5. unlock your iPhone when prompted. 6. on your Mac, click the "Get Started" button. 7. with your iPhone locked, open the "iPhone Mirroring" app on your Mac. this feature is a game-changer, and i can’t wait for the day it hopefully comes to the Vision Pro!

Let's think step by step: - Technique-wise, OpenAI has figured out a way to map audio to audio directly as first-class modality, and stream videos to a transformer in real-time. These require some new research on tokenization and architecture, but overall it's a data and system optimization problem (as most things are). High-quality data can come from at least 2 sources: 1) Naturally occurring dialogues on YouTube, podcasts, TV series, movies, etc. Whisper can be trained to identify speaker turns in a dialogue or separate overlapping speeches for automated annotation. 2) Synthetic data. Run the slow 3-stage pipeline using the most powerful models: speech1->text1 (ASR), text1->text2 (LLM), text2->speech2 (TTS). The middle LLM can decide when to stop and also simulate how to resume from interruption. It could output additional "thought traces" that are not verbalized to help generate better reply. Then GPT-4o distills directly from speech1->speech2, with optional auxiliary loss functions based on the 3-stage data. AG-UI makes building agentic applications dramatically easier. Here's how it works. This is a model for a simple chatbot: User → LLM → Response But interactive agents that render UI, pause for approvals, and ask users for input need a much more complex model. When building these agents, a response from the LLM will include a series of state changes as the agent runs: • Agent started a task • Agent called a tool • Agent updated its state • Agent streams these tokens • Agent is waiting on a human • Agent is resuming the task The Agent-User Interaction Protocol (AG-UI) treats the LLM response as a stream of events rather than a text endpoint. In practice, here is what you get as an agent runs: 1. Lifecycle events so your UI knows where the agent is. 2. Text messages that stream tokens. 3. Tool calls so your UI can prefill a form with any required arguments. 4. State updates that keep your UI in sync with the agent. 5. Special events for human approvals, rich media, and custom needs. All of these events travel over standard transports (SSE, WebSockets, or plain HTTP) as JSON. As a result, you can build a frontend that stays in sync with the agent's progress without having to invent a custom process to make this happen. If I lost everything and needed to make $5k-$10k per month with AI starting today here's what I would do: 1) Go to Fiverr and find manual tasks people are charging decent money for. I had one in mind - Keyword Research. I looked at 5-star reviews of Fiverr Pros and found a few profiles that are charing $100-$200+ for this job 2) Go to Manus/o3/Gemini 2.5 (I used Gemini here) and build out a roadmap to create an app using Replit/Bolt. etc. to automate high quality keyword research. BONUS: buy the service from Fiverr, load it into your LLM and ask it to identify where the output is falling short and how it can be improved. 3) Take the roadmap and go to my coding tool. I'm using Replit here. I spent around an hour vibe coding this while Greg is recording podcast episodes here in SF. Demo attached. Get the relevant API keys, do some QA testing, let some folks try it for free and give you feedback. 4) Have Manus, etc. crawl the profiles of top rated Fiverr pros (can also do Upwork, or others) and build a step by step guide to create an optimized profile to attract high quality clients for my service. Use 4o for a profile pic, Claude to write my description. 5) Include photos of my output. Say I have a proprietary custom workflow that allows me to do it faster and higher quality. 1-2 hour turnaround. 6) Keep iterating my workflow/internal tool based on feedback from customers, attack other marketplaces where there is clear demand, partner with agencies, build in public...lots of growth opportunities. 7) Keep productizing. Why not turn it into a micro-saas...validated, clear demand, paying customers. I think this might be the fastest way to financial freedom with AI. Who's doing this?

Introducing Offline Protocol 2.0.
