At 6'7" I only fly domestic first class for the leg room. If there is a guaranteed economy exit row seat with equal or better leg room, it's a better option.

Beds, doorways, baths, showers, clothes, public transport, private transport, face to face conversations, table/chairs, kitchen work surfaces, sinks, amusement park rides...the list goes on. The struggle is daily. Many have it way worse than me 😂

Flying first class feeling like a waste makes sense. It's surprising how little the upgrade matters compared to the cost.

Spend on experiences, they are much more valuable.

This depends on the seat. Jetblue has international level first class with MINT. You get your own pod or you are side by side with someone with lie-flat seats. Hawaiian air also has pods and some other airlines have lie-flat. That's the real difference that matters.
