Does anyone else feel like the monorail announcements now a’days are nothing in comparison?
All the parks used to have to much personality 😔 Epcot & MGM are a shell of their former selves with MK and AK closing in fast. @DisneyParks @WaltDisneyCo should be studied for how they so quickly ripped these up for nothing in return.
A different era, so much OG EPCOT still there (Horizons, Journey, Living Seas) & all the changes were being thoughtfully done (Energy, Test Track & Wonders). Even the landscaping seemed to flow better...sighhhh

Our best visit ever was June 97, when we stayed two weeks and got remarried for our tenth anniversary at the Boardwalk.

Notice between the Land and the Seas at stroller parking, there are only 4 strollers! How do we account for the exponential increase in strollers in the last 30 years?

Wow it looks so much more cohesive than today's EPCOT. I wish I would have been able to experience it that way....
Hearing the narrators voice slaps! Not only is Epcot future world far inferior to what it once was, but even the monorail ride is a downgrade.
We had no idea how good we had it, did we? I bet the tickets were half what they cost today. Wasn't really over crowded. Parking was easy. That world is gone now.
