Lutnick acknowledged that he did stop there briefly, claiming the visit lasted about an hour while traveling by boat during a family vacation. According to him, his wife, children, nannies, and another family were present, and they all had lunch on the island before leaving together. That’s worth keeping in mind alongside what Lutnick said back in 2005 after meeting Epstein: “And we decided that I will never be in a room with that disgusting person. Ever again. So I was never in a room with him socially, for business, or even philanthropy. That guy was there, I wasn’t going, ’cause he is gross.” Today, he admits he visited the island with his family for lunch with Epstein in 2012.
