Eric Clapton performs "Tears in Heaven" for the first time ever. Clapton wrote it after the tragic death of his four-year-old son Conor who died in 1991. The song expresses Clapton's deep sadness and mourning as well as the hope of being reunited with his son in heaven someday.

He played with Elton at Dodger stadium back when it was released. Before the song started, he said with his accent, “This is for my boy!” The crowds observance of the sorrow in his voice washed over the entire stadium. It was very powerful.

I think the song for Conor was When The Circus Left Town”. The last thing they did together was attend a circus at MSG.
