10000%! I remember when this was going on. At first it seemed like a good idea - having the parents held accountable. But no one ever thought about this - or rather that a mother would be persecuted like this. I can guarantee that NO one thought a parent taking care of their child would be “held accountable” for their very sick kid missing school! This is truly awful! There’s also the case of the innocent young man who went to prison for 13 years I think(?) - he’s a millionaire now, but no amount of money can buy back time. As far as I’m concerned, that guy didn’t get enough money! How many others went to jail or prison with “the swipe of a pen…” to fight CA wildfires? Gosh I’m so sick of this election season! Nov. can’t come fast enough!
