Youth empowerment is not only a moral imperative but also an economic and social necessity. Investing in our youth means investing in our future. We must provide them with access to quality education, skills training, and opportunities for participation in decision-making processes. To address this, Ebubechukwu developed Baza ng, a digital platform that links farmers to consumers, improving market access, reducing waste and strengthening the supply chain. By deploying field agents to onboard farmers from their communities, Baza ng helps ensure produce is visible, accessible and efficiently delivered. Ebube’s solution reflects a growing movement of youth-led innovation transforming agriculture from the ground up. Through the Young Africa Innovates Programme, she has gained mentorship, visibility and a network of peers shaping the future of agritech.
