Escape from New York released 44 years ago today. 10 July 1981 🗽

My second most watched Carpenter film, only behind Halloween (1978).

I see no flaws in your viewing preferences.

This movie is a-number one!

Saw opening night. Was my first R-Rated film in a theater. Was glorious.

When I saw that car as a young'n for the first time, I squinted, rubbed my eyes, and laughed into my pillow! 😄 I want that car!

One town over from me a guy made that a reality. 🪩👀

Classic 👌🏾💯

The Duke , Isaac Hayes.

A masterpiece. Tremendous from start to finish.

Metal Gear The Movie!

In the near future, it might end up as a how to video.

Will have to re watch it tonight!

That's a plan. 🍿

Watched Predator at the end, ba, 25 minutes then i fell asleep xD

Such a fun(ny) and good movie!

I like that.

Still my favorite John Carpenter movie!

That partially inspired @KurtSchlichter's People's Republic.

I'd like a good remake to this and LA
