I dunno. I've come to realise that the 'Mother of the Nation' image that the Queen had was just that: a carefully curated image. In reality, was she has rage-filled and vitriolic as @kensingtonroyal? Yeah, maybe.
My uncle lived in the U.K. among other places in Europe and America in the 50s, 60s and 70s. One thing he noticed was the type of egregious “gang mentality” that was, and still, unique to U.K. which was not found anywhere else.
