Why does ESPN have a rules analyst if the color commentator is going to contradict him? The rules analyst's entire job is to know the rules and explain them to the viewer. I've never seen anyone argue with the rules analyst to that extent.

Greg’s point was the TE wasn’t set for a second prior to the WR going in motion. His point was it was definitely close enough to call and the WR needs to give another half second prior to motioning. SM said it perfectly, it was nit-picky close, but aren’t most of these calls?
