I've been saying this for YEARS. Some people chalk it up as local bias, but they only go after the teams/ players with drama. If the players aren't dramatic enough, they creat a narrative that they're "soft" or "not him". Makes that 23-24 chip even better.

You may be right, but I'm not sure it's limited to Boston sports. We all know Stephen A Smith is a bomb thrower . Drake is part of the national discussion now so it makes sense he'd get caught in the crossfire at some point. There's a few bomb throwers in the Boston media too.
