I love it. Just change the name from "Money" and bring back a version of "Home Economics" all about banking, how to balance a chequebook, how mortgages work, closing costs, lending costs, budgeting, credit and how it works, INSURANCE and it's importance, and financial planning.

They could definitely change the current careers and civics courses, to include those things, and get rid of the waste of time that is careers and civics now. When was the last time they actually reviewed those credits?

there are equity courses in teh social science curriculum document and financial literacy is also in a course in the same document...

Equity and social justice is a course in the Social Science and Humanities curriculum (E or M level). Personal Life Manage is a grade 12 course in the Family Studies Curriculum. Neither of these are mandatory.
